but in all seriousness it seems that Rodgers just ran out of ideas , still think he go on to be an excellent manager maybe needs some more experiance before taking the reigns at another ' big club '

^Yep ancelotti would be an ideal choice, the man wins titles everywhere he goes but I think because of some sort of operation he won't be ready till next season so I guess it's Klopp, finally we get to see him manage in England
Brendan Rodgers was informed that he was sacked by a phone call a couple of hours after the derby.
Klopp is overated he did what he did at dortmund after being there for 7 years i dont think he will get that time at liverpool I like ancelotti

To be fair he was then talked to by Ian Ayre for an extended period of time , like everyone to notice that nearly every Liverpool fan is wishing him the best & not bad-mouthing the man which wouldn't happen in many other cases . It seems to me he just ran out of ideas something more experience will hopefully help him with in the future .
Look at Arsenal fans doing just that to Wenger who , while he done some weird shit has also done amazing things , think about where they'd be without him .
In a fairly short time the owners of Liverpool have sacked Hodgson, Dalglish and Rodgers, appointed a director of football which didn't work, and established a transfer committee which hasn't worked either, not to mention bottling the decision to build a new stadium. So I don't think any Liverpool fans will see Rodgers as a villain here. I think they all know what the real problem is and they need the owners to make a good decision for once.

FSG always said that their first choice was to redevelop Anfield over other options which is what we wanted all along they did the same with the Red Sox and Fenway Park .
For me the new boss , which seems will be Ancelotti or Klopp as their the only ones to be contacted , need to insist on getting rid of the committee and that they have full control over transfers .

Speaking of overrated, the idea that Liverpool are somehow too good for Jurgen Klopp is quite funny. He did what he did at Dortmund in ONLY 7 years! Liverpool haven't been at this level for 25 years (A Champions League win and a couple of 2nd place League finishes are exceptions rather than rules).
So they're left thinking that Ancelotti will down tools at Real Madrid and hightail it to manage Benteke and Balotelli at a club where the fans still think a title win is realistic? Ancelotti usually takes jobs where he finishes someone else's work. Takes over when a team is pretty much ready to win championships.
The Liverpool job probably won't appeal to him. Klopp on the other hand, has shown he can take on a project, and see it through. I can imagine him spending his first months absorbing the admittedly great heritage of that club and developing a team that can compete again.
And he would have to be given at LEAST 7 years. This would mean a football club board doing something completely out of character and making measured decisions that will benefit their organisation.
Ancelotti aint at real madrid any more its Rafa Benitiz
and ballotelli is at AC milan on a season loan if your going to spout off least get facts right
mind you doubt he will come he wants to take a year off cos he's had surgery on his spine.
It appears that the decision to sack Rodgers was made before yesterdays match.
