FIFA should treat the club world cup like a proper World cup not bung it in during a hectic busy club season period i.e. Christmas/New Year, but at a period when players have had a break and then play or better still make it a knockout tournament spread over two years.
The injury list currently is short enough (hopefully it doesn't get added to). Fabinho out until early to late January, Matip should be back end of this month/early next month (barring setbacks) and Clyne is out for the season but I believe he was gonna be sold before he did his cruciate in pre season anyway so not really a loss, although I think he would still be a very useful squad player if he were fit.
The Club World Cup is changing, this year's tournament is the last in it's current format. It will replace the International tournament the Confederations Cup that takes place the year before a World Cup. The new Club World Cup will be 24 teams, I believe it will still have the Champions of the various tournaments (champions league etc) and the rest are invitational. It will take place very 4 years.

We’ve lost Fabinho and Matip but gained Shaqiri. Judging on his performance against the Bitters, he is going to be a real asset in the coming fixtures...
Do we think that we will be doing trade in the January window and if so, who would we try for. One name mentioned and also being courted by Man Utd and other clubs is Jadon Sancho but he doesn't want to leave his current club.

If Klopp is looking for players I think he should bring back Grujic and Harry Wilson from their loans, Klopp has big plans for Grujic and has said at the start of this season that next season will be Grujic's year, also Wilson is playing really well and scoring goals in a poor Bournemouth that aren't scoring or playing well.
I don't think Sancho has the mentality that Klopp looks for in a player so I doubt that move will happen.
On Shaqiri, I think he looked really good last night, not only in his play with the ball but his work rate too, he looks up for the fight to get into the team which is a huge positive, similarly with Origi too. The fight for places is going to be massive, it might put the fire back into Salah too if he feels his place may be under threat from Shaq and Origi.
I don’t think we will sign anyone In January but I think we need to and should. Yes our squad is bigger than last year with the returns of Lallana and Ox but we are still light on top quality replacements in my opinion. Fabinho is going to be missed massively would love to see us sign a DM in January plus maybe try for Sancho if he’s available. I wasn’t overly keen on our summer business or lack of and I think January, whilst it isn’t the easiest to sign good players for reasonable fee would be chance to add some needed depth.
Doubt we’ll call back loan players seeing as both Grujic and Wilson are getting game time and performer well. Talk Brewster might go out on loan so surely we’d sign a forward if that happened.
Saw a stat that Origi now has more Merseyside Derby goals for Liverpool than Suarez and Owen, club legend
Any defensive signings you would make if you were Klopp?

No signings for me, just get Gomez in for Lovren until Matip is back fit
How do you guys view Klopp's press conferences?
