Well trophyless again means maybe, maybe just one more year before this team starts to lose one or two. Thats hoping. Eventually with the way some are playing they will eventually get an over they cant refuse, if it hasn't already potentially happened.
I'm not overly bothered by other fans its more the absolute joke some are... Utd fans so oblivious to there own problems they're celebrating City goals yet were somehow the butt of all jokes that City would "save English football" by winning the title.....the bozos don't realise if we don't win the title no fucker but City will for the next 5 years, minimum. Outspending everyone in the process....hows that saving English football???
The gutting thing is we're so close to winning the biggest trophies but aren't going to win anything. Premier league would have already been won in 90 odd percent of PL seasons if the FFP wasn't an absolute fucking joke. I'd rather lose to Barca or any foreign club for that matter, besides probably Real than ANY English team. Also rather lose the semi than the final again.
Just because you don't have a Arab or a Russian owner doesn't mean you aren't spending loads of money, anyway City haven't spent £75 million on a defender and £60 million on a keeper have they, but of course Liverpool are a "real, honest club" aren't they so its fine for them to spend silly money on players
Where would you be now if you had the budgets that the likes of Spurs and Newcastle have? they have similar sized fanbases to you, you've won 2 trophies in 13 years, that's one more trophy than Spurs. Wigan, Birmingham and Portsmouth have won

Liverpool fans still seem to think they are one of, if not the biggest club in the world, but even Spurs and Westham have bigger stadiums than you now
Liverpool fans on talksport are cracking me up right now
Mate, respectfully.....and with the most sincerity....piss off. Last time I checked having a bigger stadium didn’t actually make anyone a bigger club then anyone else....
Best of luck in championship next season, I have a feeling you may need it. Oh and enjoy a boring procession Premier League season next year, I mean who likes title races when a non plastic non sheikh backed club could win it??....
Don't write the season off yet. Forget the Champions League for now, focus solely on winning your last two games against Newcastle and my lot, which are both very doable.
City have Leicester on Monday night so a win for you at Newcastle will put them under pressure. Leicester need something as they are still chasing us for seventh. Then City go to Brighton on the last day who may still need to fight tooth and nail for a result to avoid the drop. That depends obviously on Cardiff's result against Crystal Palace but I'm sure Brighton will want to keep it in their own hands and they have to go to Arsenal first. If they get hammered at the Emirates I can see them frustrating City at the Amex on final day.
I saw Liverpool overturn a 0-3 position against AC Milan in the Champions League final and that was in less time, 45 minutes. You have a full 90 minutes to do the same against Barcelona and at Anfield, anything's possible. A win at Newcastle sets you up nicely for Tuesday.
Believe. It's not over yet.

Big big difference with what we’ve spent and what City and Chelski have in the past. There’s have come from nowhere, ours from selling players primarily and not just the top ones. Also champions league money, top four PL money. Yeah we bought VVD for 75m and Alisson for 60m but it was covered mainly from the Coutinho sell.
Taking into account all of that we’re nowhere near in the same boat as City or what Chelsea were. Yeah we’ve spent more than Tottenham and Newcastle but TBH so have Bournemouth and countless others. City may not have spent 75 or 60m on a player but they bought 3 fullbacks and Goalkeeper for something like 150 odd m the summer before last but that’s fine as it’s only 50odd for each roughly....am I right??
Football is mad, no player is worth the money that’s paid but so by your logic we can’t spend that sort money and still be a real club even though ours didn’t come from a dodgy Russian or a mega rich sheikh but those clubs can and it’s perfectly fine for them to do soo??......

Ah I like your optimism but it’s dun and dusted. City won’t drop any points and more worryingly we won’t win both of our games either. The Barca game will leave a hang over, of that I’ve no doubt.
Istanbul was a freak, Milan didn’t have a Messi player either. Fancy us to maybe win at home but not by enough to progress.
Don't dismiss it. I'm trying to help. It's not done and dusted. City have dropped points or fallen to losses on several occasions this season. The home defeat to Crystal Palace? No-one saw that coming. Everyone expected them to bury Spurs in the CL QF. They lost.
You have to believe and you have to hope. Or there's no point playing this game. It's no good dismissing everything I'm saying. There is plenty of truth in what I've said.
I'll say no more, so it's up to you how you respond. But I'm trying to help and you need to believe you can get something over the line. There is still time and still a very good chance.
Doesn't John Henry own two clubs Boston Red Sox being one of them in the US-must have a bit of dosh to spare to buy Liverpool and he has bought wisely I think, we needed to and Van Dijk has just about repaid his phenomenally expensive sum. Salah was wasted at Chelsea and now flourishing at Liverpool. Look how much Man Utd paid for their new players plus an Arsenal reject and how they've paid them back in kind-and they want to pay over the odds for the likes of Gareth Bale! Yes we paid silly money but in the end they've more than paid it back. What worries me is losing Salah, Mané etc maybe in a few years time, but by then hopefully we will be able to attract some good players again to Liverpool.

Last time i checked this is a forum not a Liverpool fan site, you seem to have a pop at fanboys on here when they defend their favourite babeshow girls, so don't be a hypocrite now that i have criticised your beloved overrated club, are you even from Liverpool btw? how about supporting your local club, so many people from my area support Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd, its fine when you are like 10, not when you are grown men

At least the likes of Man City, United and Chelsea have won the prem though, you haven't even though you've spent loads of money aswell, the reason City and Chelsea didn't sell their best players to the likes of Barca and Madrid is cos they were winning trophies, of course they were on massive wages aswell, but they could have got just as much or even more money at Barca and Real
Loads of clubs sell their best players for big money, but they still can't afford to go out and buy players for silly money like you can, did Monaco spend £40 million on a player when they sold Fabinho to you, did Southampton spend £100 million on new players when they sold half their team to you and a few other players to other clubs?
