The edge that Suarez gave Liverpool last season will be nigh on impossible to replace. Liverpool should still have a good 2014-15, but without Suarez it's hard to see them going as far as they did last season, let alone further.

Liverpool won the Champions League not long ago with Milan Baros and Cisse

And who knows, you might manage a decent run in that competition this coming season, but to keep it up in the CL while simultaneously holding your own in the Prem against Pellegrini, Mourinho, Van Gaal, and a Pochettino-led Spurs,
without Suarez, is going to be a big ask, I think.
Mock at your peril! I said this back in early April:

Whats that got to do with the mighty spurs?...
Anyway back to liverpool, i wish we would get this Lazar Markovic signing done already, seen a lot of him in the Portuguese league last season and he looks a great player...
But i am starting to think a certain Mr Ayre might have messed this one up somehow as he was supposed to complete the deal yesterday..
Hope i am wrong though
I'm saying they could be a different proposition under Pochettino. As Loew is busy showing with Germany, it's about making a team add up to more than the sum of its parts (although he has great parts at his disposal, no doubt!). You might well be battling it out with them and Arsenal for 4th.
I don't care about Spurs Addison...While they have Levy incharge they won't achieve anything. Players only go there to be in London, not because they want to play for the mighty Spurs.
And £75m for the worlds best Centre Forward?... They had him too cheap if you ask me.... End of the day he got us back into the CL like he said he would so I wish him all the best, I don't care if he occasionally does something stupid, nobodys perfect.. Good luck to him in Spain.
