It would be a odd signing in my opinion as i really don't rate the guy too much, yes he scores a fair few goals albeit for real Madrid (most strikers would) he just seems to miss too many gilt edged chances especially in the big games.

I guess what i'm trying to say that in my opinion is he just not clinical enough, for 10-15m he would be worth it maybe even 20 at a push, but for the likely fee in excess of 25 or 30m i would look elsewhere for that complete striker.

Note, my logic may have become clouded as we are stuck with the mighty Soldado aka goaldado lol wish i never got that name printed on. :/
