It's a great read. Some shocking stuff in there about the sale of the club to the 2 cowboys and their time in charge. It shows just how close they came to running the club into ground. They were an embarassment and to be honest after reading this so were David Moores and Rick Parry.
Not read it mate, heard some stories from it though and that it's a proper book. You enjoy it?
You read 44 years with the same bird?Brian Reade again.Boss lad.
I could write you a few pages of magic from my years following the Reds Yoda but this guy has a sack full of magical and tragic memories to share from Wembley 65 to Hillsborough to Istanbul and everything in between.
I've not read that mate. I'll definitely have to find a copy and have a read. I like Brian Reade...he seems a top lad and cuts through the bullshit.
I really enjoyed the other book. It's a big eye-opener. I couldnt put it down out of my hands so i got through it in 2 days. Gonna give it the once over again during the week. I'd definitely recommend it. Those 2 bastards have a lot to answer for.
Fee reported to be between 18 and 20 million. Lot of dosh for him i reckon
No disputing he'll bring much needed width to the team but he's nearly 27 .....time will tell if it's good value for money. I'm on the fence about this one.
At least it looks like strength in depth wont be an issue this season
