Oh yes, it could have been a lot worse but we couldn't meet an English Premier League side so we avoided City and Spurs, but more importantly other clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG-let's get through the group stage first then worry about who we meet in the knockout stages later.
Happy with the group, Napoli away is always tough but rest SHOULD be pretty straightforward.
We lost to Napoli because Klopp fielded a weakened side-he won't make that mistake again as this time it's not a friendly.
I doubt he'll make the same mistake again, given the importance of the game
Burnley v Liverpool this afternoon at 5.30pm. Now we cannot take this team for granted, they have dumped us out of several Cups over the years and humiliated us in defeats so we have to take them seriously and Dyche in particular(once thought of as being the next England manager) is not a man to trifle with, so Liverpool have to take the advantage and score at least 2-3 goals. Let's hope it's a good game.
3-0 to Liverpool OG, Mane and Firmino (50 league goals for Liverpool now) with the goals. Fantastic win away against a tough team, hopefully everyone comes back from the international break fit, Newcastle at Anfield then in 2 weeks
New record set after all this time 13 consecutive League wins now. Onwards and upwards. Bit of a scare with Mané and Henderson earlier in the game but hopefully they are fine now. Ah Newcastle is it, right that should be a great game.
English pundits can't help but be disparaging to foreign teams. Steve McManaman on why Liverpool were unable to take their chances:
"They would usually put them away in the Premier League no problem I don't know what it was tonight, the atmosphere, the heat..."
or maybe it was the quality of the opposition?

Napoli are a quality team, good players, well organised and a fantastic manager. There wasn't much in the game to be fair, Liverpool were just very sloppy at crucial times tonight, poor final balls and decision making in the final third and very silly mistakes for the goals
Liverpool fans on here seem very quiet about the revelation that the club paid Man City £1m in 2013 to settle a claim that Liverpool staff had illegally accessed the Man City scouting system.
There are calls for an enquiry. Think you'll win the league with a 10 point deduction?
