Nah we got him on a free, he's surely more effective than a certain English winger*

*Couldn't bring myself to badmouth Joey laugh
At least Joey came free!!!! Wink There's 50 million reasons why it was a better deal than FTTongue
Not looking too good at the moment and that left side of defence has now disappeared
Daniel Agger is out for the rest of the season. Big blow, we look way better at the back with Danny partnering Carra.

Also reports flyings around that we've a pre-contract agreement signed with Sylvain Marveaux. I've only seen clips of him on youtube but i wouldnt pass a judgement on that as anybody could be made to look decent on there. However he is supposed to be a decent left winger. I understand he's a bit injury prone though. Hope he doesnt turn out to be another Cheyrou or Diomede type French import bladewave

Come on now Fonz if ur implying our players are injury prone then take a closer look at your own team....G. Neville's last 4 years, Wes Brown, John O Shea, Ferdinand, Rooney, Hargreaves, Park and OwenRolleyes

Although i'll give you Aurelio & Agger are sicknotes & Gerrard this season has had his problems which began when on England duty last November.
dont forget rafael!

fair point, but i have a theory, our boys play saturday - tuesday/ sunday - wednesday etc most of the season your lot are out of just about every competition by xmas so they have more time to rest, you forgot to mention christmas carroll on that list plus that 50 million pound statue that moved to the chelski recently.
Any of you lads read the LeBron James thing? He's become minority owner of Liverpool.

The deal comes as part of a partnership between Fenway Sports Management and LeBron's sports-marketing firm, LRMR Branding & Marketing. As a result of the agreement, FSM will become James' exclusive worldwide representative.

James says he is humbled by the deal and excited to wear a red Liverpool shirt at Anfield.

LRMR Branding & Marketing chief executive Maverick Carter says "These guys have unmatched skills when it come to marketing and selling on a global basis,"

Fenway Sports Group co-owner Tom Werner said that the deal with James would never have been reached had the ownership group not acquired Liverpool last year.

"Without purchasing Liverpool, we never would have been able to have this conversation," Werner said.

Liverpool's revenues for the 2009-10 season were a reported $320 million Dollars.

A bit surreal lol but this must be good for business lads.James is one of the most iconic sportsmen in the world.

Lebron James and Andy Carroll up front knocking the ball down for Suarez....good times Tongue

Or maybe with Agger, Kelly & Johnson injured, we can stick him in next to Skrtel at centre half...he's surely better than the GreekTongue
