This should give us a serious lift with 2 home games to come against Fulham & Stoke ahead of the Chelsea game on Feb 6th when hopefully we may have Gerrard back??? Once again Shelvey on & a no show from Joe Cole
As for Regenrated's Wolves I think if they had a good defensive midfielder & a goal scoring striker they may finish in mid table but with the Premier League as compact as it is it maybe a tough end to the season for you.
Although I do think if Adam Hammill can swing a few good crosses in then Kevin Doyle should be able to get his head on a few???
Well I know it must be a big scalp beating the mighty Wolves at fortress Molineux but we were shite today..
I wouldn't concern yourself with Wolves problems, we're not pretending to be one of the best teams in Europe and like you say it's a compact league, so watch your ass..
It was a much improved Liverpool side to what I saw in the game at Anfield a few weeks back. That night Liverpool were insipid, in a dour display which Wolves took advantage of. Today was much more like the Liverpool I know - solid, devastating on the counter attack and up for the battle.
I dare say it but I thought you looked better without Gerrard. Maybe there's too much pressure on Gerrard's shoulders to keep saving you. Its like they played with a bit more freedom without Gerrard, and it forced other players such as Morales, Skrtel, Kuyt, Poulsen and Rodriguez to shine more. They were all outstanding players for you today.
Hi Regenerated, not sure if I went to the same game, the first half was a non event except for the goal. This is a Liverpool thread, do you really think they will be happy with that performance ? Result wise yes but apart from that not many positives.

Hi Mr Head, I said I thought the first half was even, and Liverpool were the better team in the second. They were clinical in front of goal, they defended solidly, they stopped us playing and they were up for the fight. Yes, I think they'll be happy with the performance.
I like to talk about all football in general. I am a die hard Wolves fan and have gold and black blood, but am also a fan and historian of the game in general. I give credit when its due.
I realise you are a fan of the game, i've seen all your posts on what Liverpool have done in the past. Wolves did a few things in the past but i'm sure you'll get round to telling people about that..

I don't know whether to take you serious or not??? Yes we
will be happy with
that performance as we showed a good team spirit & a will to fight & stick together even when you were having a decent spell in the second half our defence didn't fall on it's face like under Hodgson & our attacking play always consisted of at least 3 players, not to mention a clean sheet & away win... HAPPY EFFING DAYS!!!... Maybe you should head over to the Football Banter Thread & have a team talk with Shrute...

Regenerated, like myself is a man of sense & fair comment as illustrated above. This Wolf's obviously in a pack of his own.
Our first win under The King!Delighted with it.Raul Mereiles star man.Brilliant performance from the lad.Torres quality again.Any takers for the golden boot???Thought we passed the ball well (pass and move) The Liverpool way.Thought the movement of Maxi,Kuyt,Lucas and Mereiles was great. All breakin forward at every attack.I honestly haven't seen that for as long as i can remember....Thought we showed a mix of determination and quality which is what you need to get a result goin down to a place like Molineux.
Kenny even got a performance from Poulsen!!!!
I think Steve Clarke has been a top move from Kenny. The sessions he's putting on in training are supposed to be different class and a combo of the Inspirational King and Clarke is looking like a quality mixture.
Stevie's back for Wed night.
So Ryan Babel is staying put for now.....maybe now he'll spend more time on the pitch than he does on twitter
On another subject Charlie Adam has handed in a transfer request at Blackpool. Could be arriving at Anfield sooner rather than later.
