I just think he'd be good to have as he'd be good for the younger guys to have around, and with gerrard getting on to they could share gametime and we'd always have some experience on the pitch

Yes it would. Firstly, he is getting on in years, secondly, he and Gerrard clearly dont play well together and thirdly, taking an aging Chelsea player at that stage in his career will make us look a laughing stock

We don't have many goal-getters so Lampard definitely!! But realistically we need atleast 2 more goalscoring strikers, I wouldn't mind seeing Rickie Lambert and Darren Bent

Thats why i said split the games between him and gerrard so there is always experience on the pitch, im not saying play them together, he's proven to score goals from midfield too which is what we need more of, on a free transfer we'd get 2 seasons atleast from him and with experienced england internationals in the squad it wouldnt do any harm

Liverpool have money to spend,we're just not going to shell out big bucks in January.
If there were to be big signings it will be in the summer.

Bro, we need big signings now. We ain't got time to wait till the summer.

I know that we have money to spend and I can see that we are building for the future, but we still need some kind of experience and proven players for the present, if we are serious about top 4 one player I would love to see with suarez is David villa, he's one of the best strikers in the world, he might be 30 but he's still class, we would get 3 years atleast out of him and would give us goals for the present and wouldn't cost a fortune, if swansea are being linked with him for a move then surely we should be going in for him. Same as Arsenal being linked with him, wenger likes to buy youth but knows he needs Experience to go with it. By all means buy younger players for the future to play along side them but we need to buy proven quality aswell as potential to become more consistent and competitive. If our better players don't see any higher quality players coming in soon I can see many of them wanting out eventually.
