Looks a quality player from the clips i've seen. He's a unit as well, 6ft 2. Quick, strong, dribbler and a finisher.
Could be a top signing if we wrap it up...
Not for me mate, past his best long ago. Brad Jones is better back up.
Tiago Ilori and Mamadou Sakho: Liverpool close in on deals for duo By Ben Smith BBC Sport
Liverpool hope to complete the signings of defenders Mamadou Sakho from Paris St-Germain and Sporting Lisbon's Tiago Ilori in the next 48 hours. The Anfield side are in talks with both clubs and hope to reach an agreement on the respective deals over the weekend.Sakho, 23, who can play in central defence or on the left, has 14 France caps and is likely to cost £13m.Both Sakho and Ilori, who is 20, are expected on Merseyside for medicals and further talks in the next 24 hours.Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is also keen to add an attacking player to his squad before the transfer window shuts, with Chelsea's Victor Moses a loan target.Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given could also join the Reds on a one-year loan deal as back-up to Simon Mignolet.Kolo Toure was carried off during Liverpool's Capital One Cup win against Notts CountyLiverpool have prioritised defensive recruitments with Aly Cissokho joining Sebastian Coates on the sidelines with a long-term injury ahead of Sunday's match against Manchester United.Cissokho sustained an ankle injury inTuesday's 4-2 extra-time Capital One Cup second-round victory over Notts County at Anfield, in which he was making his first start since joining on a season-long loan from Valencia."He could be four to six weeks, which is a blow because he came in and trained really well last week," said Rodgers."But he is on crutches at the moment and we'll look at that over the coming weeks. He certainly won't be available [against Manchester United]."There was, however, better news on fellow defender Kolo Toure, 32, who was carried off on a stretcher with a groin problem against Notts County."Toure's injury is nowhere near as bad as we thought," added Rodgers. "We will assess that over the next 24 to 48 hours. We were all thinking he might be out for longer but he's made an excellent recovery."The diagnosis isn't anywhere near as bad as we thought, so we'll see how he is for this weekend. If it's not this weekend, then after the international break he won't be too far away."Meanwhile, midfielder Joe Allen, 23, who also suffered a hamstring injury in midweek, will be back in action soon."It was only a grade one strain, so he may be doubtful for the weekend but certainly after the international break, he'll be fine," said Rodgers.

Two brilliant signings they'll be mate.
Sakho looks a top drawer centre back already and he's only 23. Toure's been immense so far but this lad could be our first choice for the next 10 years.
Ilori is one of the top centre back prospects in Europe, a real classy operator, brilliant on the ball and lightening quick. He'll be one of the fastest players in the league and he's a centre back! Broke all the sprint records held by Ronaldo at Sporting...
Lets get them wrapped up.
I think if we get these two in Martin Skrtel's off for sure and Wisdom will go on loan somewhere.
Moses likely to come in before the deadline as well according to Smith.
Agree will be more than happy with these two guys, hope its true, Hopefully we can get somebody up the top end to put away some more of our chances, I'll say it again, I think we missed a good oppourtunity with David Villa, can play Left wing or as a Striker, looks in great form for Atletico.

I agree with you that david villa is a great player and would of been great for us, however liverpools transfer policy is to bring in young, hungry talent who wont cost the world and are on sensible wages.
The players they have bought so far are very promising and can only get better.
I know that our policy is to buy younger players but it's still good to have a few older guys, I know Toure was free but he is older but his experience has helprd us a lot I think, I think Villa would have been the same and his small transfer fee I think was 2m euro this season and 2 next is pretty good.
I think he could be buy of the Season, looks really sharp again now he is playing in his role as striker again down the middle.

I think we do need a better back up keeper than jones but I don't think that Shay Given is the answer...would rather have Dudek on the bench again
Tiago Ilori 20 £8m...... Martin Kelly 23 & Andre Wisdom 20?????????????????
