I've also heard the rumors of Wilson starting and Johnson playing in front of Kelly. We've been crying out for a long time for Johnson to be pushed forward and if he rumors prove to be true then its a great move. With Danny Wilson coming in at centre back its a sign that Kenny may be prepared to give the younger lads a chance. This could bode well for the likes of Kelly, Wilson, Pacheco, Suso etc.
The training methods used by Woy have apparantly also been done away with. He concentrated on tactics and zonal possession. The word is Kenny has opted to concentrate more on actually playing football. Passing and movement, gaining confidence on the ball and the lads expressing themselves on the ball. It's probably not gonna make much difference after only a couple of training sessions but the days of lumping the ball up for Torres to chase may finally be at an end
Liverpool are keen to sign Blackpool Defender Charlie Adams.

Your Master Yoda
Charlie Adam's done well for half a season but that don't make him a quality player... Yet??? in the same way as Blackpool have done well for half a season but that don't mean they're gonna win the league.

Anyone else pissing them selves with laughter ? I love seeing the demise of Liverpool, that's 2 for 2 for the king (ha) two games in and he already looks like he wants to hang himself, I'll provide the rope. Honestly how bad are the scousers now, I love it. I hope we destroy you on Sunday, can't blame the refs this week. ha fucking ha
i love the demise of liverpool, but i am a scouser, but am a proud toffee
The thing with Liverpool supporters over the years is that they've regressed from being overfed on success for so long to being starved of the one true barometer of quality, ie the Premiership for so long that they're now becoming the laughing stock of the English game.
Only those well over thirty years old can truly remember and appreciate what it felt like to win the League; those who are now in their twenties may remember the late 1980s/early 1990s but were probably too young to truly appreciate it.
This has left many LFC fans of today, who have only their fathers and elders to tell them of the club's glory days, looking ever-more desperate and disillusioned. They blame the media, pro-Man United referees and everyone/thing else when really they should just be looking much closer to home.
LFC showed a massive lack of foresight when stadia were being rebuilt on the recommendations of the Taylor Report post Hillsborough, and have been left lagging miles behind their rivals in terms of revenue generated; they couldn't even fill their rather small ground for the recent visit of Bolton (35,000).
Liverpool fans are now perceived as extraordinary whingers, prefering to phone radio phone-ins rather than go to matches, and their domination of said shows only leaves them looking all the more ridiculous in the eyes of rival fans. Whenever they win a throw-in their fans collectively shout "It's our year!" but now the time has come when surely even the most deluded set of fans in England have to stop taking leave of their senses.
The appointment of "King" Kenny had most people at work jumping for joy - all the Liverpool fans, and most of the United fans, who recalled how he quit last time out.
The game has changed so much since he last managed; he didn't even cover himself in glory at Parkhead in that annual two-horse-race, so what kind of warped logic decrees that he's some sort of messiah?
Think Shearer taking the Geordies down and Maradona outthought by proper coaches at the World Cup; it's not all about playing for a legend, else the game's best players would make the best managers.
That old Chinese proverb comes to mind regards Dalglish's appointment and the Kop's reaction - be careful what you wish for...
Who let these 3 beauts in?
Enjoy the
demise while it lasts
