Of course Rodgers is going to say that about him, he's not going to come out and say what the Majority of liverpool fans i have spoken too think of Lamberts performances so far. Personally like I said, in my opinion he has been useless.

And we knew we were loosing Suarez and with 2 weeks to go we have spent around 100m and only 4m on a declining Striker and failed to Sign Sanchez and other targets such as Benzema, Cavani, Falcao, even Remy...

First of all it seems like we're linked with everybody be they available or not , second Benzema & Cavani were never leaving their clubs and we have only been linked with Falcao in the past day or so when he was always gonna be joining Real . As for Remy if we saw something we didn't like on his medical than we were right in not signing him .
Why would a top striker sign for a team who gets CL once every few seasons?

Cavani wants out of PSG and PSG want to sell him to fund cash to bring in Di Maria. (The kind of player we should be trying to sign if we have any ambition to bulid on the hard work last season)

Secondly Echo and a number of other top reports have said we have been in talks with Falcao but we can't meet his wage demands although we have just sold Reina who was on a reprted 100k a week and also Suarez who was on 200k...

And last if Our ambitions to replace Suarez were with Remy then don't expect to finish Top 4 this season.. didn't want him here anyway...

Sounds to me like we are getting pretty desperate now and have once again left it late, the first Signing we should have made was a Replacement for Suarez and I hope to god that wasn't our new number 9 Lambert. Take away his penalty goals for Southampton last season and it doesn't look very good, he won't be taking Pens here either as Gerrard takes them..

You mean a team thats won the CL 5 times and the second most successful team in England?

They were only going to sell Cavani once a fee for Di Maria was agreed which looks like it's now not gonna happen .

Second we were never in talks for Falcao as most reports say all we did was inquire about him on loan and were told a fee had been agreed with Real , as for his wages he reportedly wants 350K a week which he's not worth anyway .

Remember have faith in the club as we haven't even been able to field our first team yet as players have had knocks and been returning from the World Cup .
I'm not denying that we have a better overall squad now than we had before, I just think that a lot of the players we have signed we could have signed without CL Football.

I was expecting us to get atleast 2 "big names" in and especially have a Replacement in for Suarez by now as Sturridge can't stay fit and you already know my views on Lambert..

I would much rather have kept Borini as backup instead of Lambert, he is young, and already proved last year at Sunderland he has what it takes and he suits our game compared to Lambert.

Pop princess Rihanna is reportedly keen to buy Liverpool FC
Pop princess Rihanna had such a good time at the World Cup, she wants to buy a football club - and reports say Liverpool FC are her number one choice.

The singer spent the summer tweeting her views on matches from Brazil, attending the final and sharing pecks on the cheek with members of Germany’s victorious side.

Last week there were reports that Rihanna wanted to set up her own footballing academy in her native Barbados before branching into football ownership.

And now, Spanish news provider Mundo Deportivo reports that the club the pop star wants is Liverpool.

Rihanna is set to take her new found love of football to the next level – by launching a bid to buy Liverpool. Seriously.

The pop queen entered our hearts during the World Cup in Brazil, by brilliantly live-tweeting matches and adding her own killer insight.

And amid reports that she has been looking to invest in an English football club, Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo says Liverpool are the team of choice.

The paper says she has been advised by close friend and Chelsea striker Didier Drogba to make an offer for the Anfield club.

Te Amo, Anfield! Rihanna wants to own Liverpool, according to reports
We all know Rihanna had a great time during the World Cup, tweeting her views on matches, attending the final and sharing pecks on the cheek with members of Germany's victorious side.

But we didn't realise that her enjoyment of the game would extend to wanting to share a boardroom with the likes of Mike Ashley and David Sullivan.

Last week came reports that the singer wants to set up her own footballing academy in Barbados before branching into football ownership, with the diamonds singer said to be fancying a jump into the English game.

And now, Spanish news provider Mundo Deportivo reports that the club the pop star wants to call her own is Liverpool!

The Reds finished second in the Premier League last season playing an adventurous style - something the good girl gone bad knows all about.

Cant see FSG selling but I think maybe her having shares or something like LeBron James would be a good commercial idea. Give her Ian Ayres job, I don't think many players would turn her down when she turns up to sign you Wink seriously though there would be a lot of money making potential for the club if she was involved in some way.
