I didn't know Alonso did an LFCTV interview so maybe like I said
"I think he's just pleasing the mouth that asks albeit with a sincere answer" Real won't sell him as they use him in the same way we did, not just for his passing but to fill in alongside a defensive midfielder but also as an out & out DM when they want a more attacking team so a return won't happen.
I was gonna say in my last post that I thought David Ngog might pop up in the Henderson deal to make up for the extra £5m that Sunderland want, I saw today that a £16m deal may be done tomorrow so Ngog would make it £20m, I'm not sure how well Ngog would do at Sunderland, but if Bruce lets him play as an out & out striker rather than someone who works for the team then he'll get in the box & would be good for 8 or so goals a season untill he learns how to control the ball a bit better.
We're getting linked with everyone but Cheryl Cole at the minute but none of our dead wood is being linked with anyone which probably means as usual we'll be selling players for below their value
But is Jordan Henderson worth 20 million?
And has he recovered from his ankle injury?
time will tell weather Henderson is worth the money, but with the inflated prices these days you never know what a good bargin is.I am looking forward to next season and hopefully with the new signings that are sure to follow this one a more consistant season awaits and a challenge to get back in the top four.(maybe even a title challenge).

We're buying a talented, young,English player with huge potential Charlemagne.A great signing from Kenny i think, a statement of intent. All the top sides were looking at Henderson and we've gone in and done the deal early.Which is a breath of fresh air for me.We've stood still for far too long as a club.If Jordan Henderson's gonna be a superstar he'll be one here not somewhere else.So for me he's worth it.Great news for us.
Clubs need to take a gamble on these young lads to get the rewards. We've done it with Carroll and Henderson already and the Connor Wickham deal is almost done and dusted. If these lads help us win titles and cups they'll be priceless to us.
The new owners transfer strategy is to snap up all the best young British talent. So u can expect more of the same.
The deal is £13 million cash + Ngog. If Sunderland think Ngog is worth £7 million then that's their problem
I've heard the deal is £20m no matter what Yoda and the value on Ngog is £4m.Also heard the Ngog deal isn't done yet.
If Ngog signs for Sunderland then it's £16m plus Ngog.
If he dosen't sign then its £20m cash.
Who knows mate?
So this year Liverpool have managed to sell a crocked striker for 50m and possible a forward who could score in a brothel for 4 or 7 million.
And instead they have managed to buy two young England players.
So I agree that it looks good business.
seems like Phil Jones is at old trafford for his medical..... so its a no no to liverpool then. Shame would have been nice to have another youngster on board. Lets hope we get adams and downing soon
