I think if he did go we'd fetch around 7-8 mil for him, I heard a rumour zenit were interested in him.
If he did go a few CB's who might fit our system could be Sakho from PSG he's young, has captained PSG Strong Pacey and commands the defence.
Another option would be Diego Godin.
who in their right mind would leave PSG to come to Liverpool? this isnt Football Manager.
I'd just like to take this oppourtunity to bring this up
^^^ have to say that looks nice. a great man!
Victor Moses is joining Liverpool on a loan deal from Chelsea. Liverpool will pay Chelsea a loan fee (£1m- £2m) and cover 100% of the player's wage. There is no provision for a permanent transfer, it's just a season-long loan.
1-0 up and only three minutes gone!!
For one minute today both the Liverpool and Man Utd fans had a minutes silence for the best ever football managers.
Tomorrow would have been the 100th birthday of legend Bill Shankly.
Shankly was the manager mostly responsible for getting Liverpool from second tier football to European champions.
I'm sure he and Sir Alex would have enjoyed playing each other if they had done both master tacticians but I would give Shankly a slight edge in that area over Sir Alex and I'm sure the Liverpool of that era would have been more than a match for the United teams managed by Sir Alex.
Am I happy with todays result....
No conformation as yet but Sakho,Ilori & Moses at todays match.
Rodgers on trio; "We hope they can be completed."
"I don't think there will be any confirmation until tomorrow."
"We need the depth and we need more numbers. "
"The player's that we want,If we can get them over the line, are all quality players and will really help us going forward. "
Great result today, I really do not see the point in us paying to take moses on loan for 1 season to give him back to chelsea and pay his wages.... makes no sense at all, why not bring somebody in permanent or on loan with option to buy?.... why develop a rivals player for them?
