Great to have the Liverpool fans back on here to give me a bit of back-up and some decent discussions!! I thought i was fighting a battle all on my own the last couple of days Big Laugh

On Edin Hazard...he's the lad who scored the free-kick for Lille against us in the first leg of the last 16 of the Europa League last season. I've seen a little bit of him. Has a good touch and a bit of trickery about him but i wouldnt like us to go for him. He's scarily similar to the last lad we signed from Lille...................Bruno Cheyrou!! eekeek
Fair enough but i'd still like to see us making some changes in the next 2 and a bit weeks. I mean what ever we're doing now just isnt working, I hope Kenny can change things but he's not a miracle worker.

I remember when Kyrgiakos was playing for Rangers and even they thought he was terrible so how he gets a start for Liverpool after being a Greek reject I'll never know. I'd agree that Martin Kelly has been playing great for us this season, probably our best player, which is a shame considering he's a defender.

I wouldn't compare anybody to Maxi because including all the other bad signings I'd say he's been the worst in the past 2 or 3 seasons.

As for Charlie Adam it would be great to see a player like him putting on a Liverpool shirt, he's somebody you know is going to give 110% every weekend, especially in the derby's as I watched him score plenty of goals for Rangers against Celtic back in the SPL Sad i'm sure Stevie G wouldn't be fighting a losing battle in Midfield every weekend having Adam along side him.
We need a left-back and there's a little story beginning to gather pace about Stephen Warnock possibly making a return. Now there's somebody i'd love to see back at the club. Should never have let him leave in the first place but Rafa fancied Riise, Aurelio and Insua...mistake unfortunately.
It would top our options at the moment. Coentrao would be a dream move but I think Jose Mourinho has him tapped up already.

I was there in spirit Yoda but by the time i'd seen every post it would've taken too long to click back & post a reaction to everyone made & i don't know how to quote muliiple posts or i would've done. That said you proved yourself a true Jedi Master your followers will be proud.

A Stephen Warnock return would be like a Return Of The Jedi... Ok maybe i need to stop this nowBig Laugh seriously though that would be a very welcome return.

Mitchell you're a legendBig Grin

The force is strong in you my friendBig Grin
My post wasn't aimed at u mailicious fan.

Think that the owners will part with some serious money Mitchell. They said that they would spend wisely a smartly. So i think that if a real good target comes along they'll throw some weight behind it.Don't forget that amongst their partners is Art Nicholas who's worth something like a Billion dollars in his own right.
So if they see Suarez as a good target then i think £15m will be no probs.

We need a leader on the pitch 2mrw.One of the most important derbies for years.Without Stevie n Carra theres a lack of scouse lads in the side.So i'd think about stickin little Jay in there with Kelly a certainty(1st name on the sheet) and Johnson down the right.

Kenny will have the lads fired right up and Anfield's gonna be buzzing. It's King Kenny flag day so the Kop will be packed with flags and all sorts i think we'll win 2mrw.
Anyone watching Carra on Gillette Soccer Saturday??? He's coming across really well. Having read his book, listened to him in interviews previously and listening to how he is speaking today, he's obviously a student of the game. He has a massive knowledge of football. I know he he's taking his coaching badges at the moment and there's talks of him being "fast-tracked" into management. I think he has the potential to be a seriously good football manager when he retires. And a definite LFC manager for the future.
I was watching him after the Celtic game, we all know he's a good lad but he defo knows his stuff. Seems really relaxed and confident, I'd rather listen to what he's saying than Le Tiss or Merson. Could see him being future LFC manager no problem.
Good result for The Hoops too. Watched a bit of it.
