Last season we had Suarez who made goals out of nowhere and got Liverpool going with his presence. We are missing that this season. Plus coutinho has been poor loses the ball too much. Lucas has always been rubbish. Slows the game down. They need a proper defensive midfielder like wanyama or scheneiderlin

Hammers shouting "who are ya" and I'm thinking the same! Terrible game imo! Sloppy passing, no intensity, not getting the second ball and Mario was a no entity! Only good things was lallana and sterling.

What exactly is Mario supposed to do if he has no decent supply of passes and crosses? He basically setup the Sterling by managing to bring the ball down and getting a shot in. Lucas isn't a problem either, he doesn't get forward or assist because that isn't his game, play him as a defensive midfielder and he'll sit in there and mop up nicely. He'll have a hard job though, that defence is ridiculously crap, does Rodgers do any work on defending during training sessions at all?

These problems have been there since last season, only difference is there's no Suarez scoring and assisting.

Rodgers failed to replace suarez in the summer, didn't bring in enough proven talent or fix the defence, spending 20m on lovren was a joke, he's no better than what we had, most of the errors in defence have been made by him so far..

As for Balotelli he needs service and he is not getting any at all..

We need to try a few matches without gerrard to see how it goes, can't get much worse

People seem to forget that Suarez would be suspended anyway, getting fed up of seeing people on social media saying "if we still had Suarez we'd be better".... Time to move on

when United spend 66m on Di Maria And Falcao and We spend 60m on Lovren, Markovic and Lallana you know something isn't right... Rodgers has done a Dalglish and wasted over 100m... only 2 players who have made a difference is Manquillo and Moreno.

Lallana = Stuart Downing
Markovic = Assaidi
Lambert = Andy Carroll
Lovren ??? £20m wasted when we have Skrtel, Coates, Illori, Toure, Sakho, Wisdom.. why do we need 7 CB's? Find somebody to Replace Gerrard who should not be starting games, he's past it.. should be on the bench.

As for Sakho, don't let him near the pitch..

First of all Manquillo not been that impressive and we were better after he came off , so far from what I've seen Flanagan is much better , same he's injured.

Markovic is only 20 has play just 3 times for us and is adapting to a new country so it's way too early to judge.

Lallana just needs to find his feet , so to speak , and he'll be fine , remember he's been at one club for his entire career so he's getting used to a different club.

Sakho was doing fine up until the mistake and will get better especially if he's paired with Lovern as they will be able to communicate as Lovern speaks french.

Lambert just needs a goal and then he'll be off and running .

Gerrard isn't past it he's just fatigued from the not having a break during the summer.

And as for the boss I suppose you want rid of him ?

I love how you actually think Liverpool are the best team on the planet and everything is fine.. we have been shit since Suarez left.. we are a shambles in defence and our keeper has the presence of tooth fairy....

Lambert was a pointless signing, saw him try and run today, he's slower than my Grandma, just because he is a liverpool fan and worked in a beetroot factory means nothing to me.. there is a reason he spent his career in the lower leagues and Southampton..

Lallana is a £15m player at best..

I have seen loads of Markovic Last season in the Portuguese liga Sagres and he scored only 5 league goals for Benfica against lower level teams, he's no better than Assaidi..

Lovren and Sakho have been shit together, Sakho & Lovren have been the main reason for us letting in stupid goals with their pathetic mistakes..

Gerrard isn't fatigued, he's past it, he just had a 2 week holiday for the international break... if the club can't move on from Gerrard we are going nowhere... lets move him into defence when he hits 37, then maybe at 40 we put him in goal?

He can't play a holding role, he has no pace to get back and should be starting on the bench.. was it not Gerrard who pretty much lost us the title last season with his slip and lack of pace to catch the lightning fast demba Ba..

As for the excuse "adapting to a league/ team" it's bull shit, 2 words, Diego Costa...maybe if we actually didn't waste 100m on average mid table players then you wouldn't even need to use that excuse...

Face it, we are a mess and Rodgers needs to sort it, never been convinced by him..
