CONGRATULATIONS LIVDERPOOL!!!
Indeed you did Carlos. On that showing though we could steamroller Wolves on Sunday and win on points.
Perhaps I might change my name from Green to Red Machine.
Amazing achievement...congrats Liverpool.
It takes a lot for this 21 stone barn-door to get emotional but even I had tears running down my face at the end of the game that wasn't just the greatest comeback of all time but probably the greatest one-off performances ever against the best team in the world.I thought the combination of Messi's thunderbolt free-kick in the 1st leg & injuries to Salah & Firminho was fate saying it's a bridge too far to overturn a 3-0 deficit & although I thought we'd win I always envisaged Barca getting the killer away goal. But for us Liverpool fans we are well versed in over the years are that we are a club that doesn't know when it is beaten & have the heart to overturn the biggest odds. From overturning 3-0 to AC at the final in Instanbul in 2005 to overturning a deficit to knock out Dortmund two seasons ago & Roma last season proved being a Liverpool fan can be detrimental to the old ticker.
An ungainly, often lazy & awkward player in Origi (who was farmed out to Wolfsburg last season) whom I wouldn't put my last fiver on Origi scoring in a one-on-one & not only bagged the first goal but got the winner as well (from a cheeky corner by Arnold).Whilst Suarez is a fantastic player his petulant attitude makes him one of the worst where he cons referee's with fake fouls & dives & sly niggles on opposition players by fouling them when the referee & linesmen aren't watching. His petulance was disgraceful this evening particularly against a former club (that he often seems to forget about) & seeing Robertson being brought off injured by Suarez only to see his replacement Wijnaldum to score a brace was poetic justice. To see the look on Suarez's & fellow mercenary turncoat Countinho's faces as we dumped them out of the CL semi-final against all odds was priceless.
As Liverpool played John Lennon's poignant song 'Imagine' at the end of the game whilst winning the Premiership is out of our hands winning the Champions League is certainly in our hands.YNWA.
Been watching game I fell off my seat when we scored the winning goal
what an amazing comeback from a 3-0 deficit to win 4-0 on night if any team were gonna do it was Liverpool now they have to keep focus on Premiership.
come on you
