Fantastic win, entirely deserved, Firmino's goal being ruled out was ridiculous. They should just change the rule to absolutely zero contact allowed on the keeper if they are disallowing an honest challenge for the ball with no raised arms and minimal contact. Nonsense.
Some hairy moments due to not killing the game, similar to the Spurs match but can't beat the feeling of getting a win over that shower of wankers
Firmino and Wijnaldum were amazing first half, ball was glued to their feet. Henderson, Gomez and Van Dijk fantastic throughout. Salah scores a great goal after missing a stone cold sitter, bit of a theme this season.
10 more wins.

They might just scrape through
Apparently Becker was clocked at 16mph running to celebrate with Mo Salah. It was also interesting to hear Manc Utd fans ringing up 606(5live) and complain about their team but some actually conceded that Liverpool deserve to win the title-now that's something you very rarely get, although one caller said the programme was more of a Liverpool love-in! Well after 30 years I think we're entitled to a bit of praise!!
Still got that Wolves to get through. How many more pints you reckon you likely need be confirmed champions? Would probably be the record for the earliest any PL title has been won if you can wrap it up before end of February/beginning of March.

City can get a maximum of 94 as it stands, they have 15 games left to Liverpool's 16 left. But I think 90 points will do it, cant see City getting more than that, think they will lose and draw at least one more game each. They don't look to be up for the fight when they aren't smashing a team and it gets tight in a game.
Leicester were our nearest rivals but they blew it yesterday so barring a major meltdown I can't see us losing this chance, it would be the biggest tragedy to lose it; Wolves are a good side of course you can't take them for granted but many, many fans believe , that after 30 long years, that THiS year is finally going to be OUR year.
and your bird will be back on his perch by end of February which must be another record....
Huge test tonight against Wolves. Always a hard game.
Can't believe Lawro(Mark Lawrenson) has gone for a draw! Okay I'd settle for that, being so far ahead in points but Liverpool have that ruthless streak and have found a winning mentality now so I hope he's wrong and Liverpool beat Wolves by three goals but they are a good side and can't be taken for granted.

Draw is a good result away to a top quality Wolves team. If that happened there is still a game in hand next Wednesday away to West Ham, a win in that would mean a 15 point lead with 14 games left to play.
So a draw tonight wouldn't be a disaster, far from it in fact. Still hopeful for the win though, Wolves have a small squad and played a lot of games. Should be able to cause them problems and hopefully the front 3 have their shooting boots on tonight.
