Why you never tempted Moyes before he joined Sociedad is beyond me. If any manager has good links with Merseyside Football it's him...

You even thanked me for it! Ah and the "spineless" thingy or dig, anyone on the Lfc thread writes anything postive you seem quick to rubbish it and prophesie doom and gloom virtually all the time! IMO!

this little tiff he is having with Mr 77 doesn't even come close to some of the slanging matches me and fernandez had earlier this year, but eventually we put our differences aside and now we have a mutual respect for each other

Its a bit harsh that. But look he needs help he was allowed to behave like a child in a sweet shop in the summer with the money he spent. There seem to be no recruitment strategy at the club. They knew six months before Suarez was going they could have delivered a world class name then. But we were left with expecting great things from the 32 year old Lambert!!
It's funny how there is so little middle ground when it comes to managers. Last season Rodgers was the messiah when in reality he was simply doing a good job and being backed by players in top form. Now he's useless when the reality is he's still a good coach going through a bad period and suffering from a lack of form/injury to his top performers.
That said, he desperately needed a new keeper in the summer as even at their best last season Mignolet was an accident waiting to happen.
