let Arsenal get 5th is the stupidest thing iv'e heard.... we want to finish as high as possible, the europa league is not shit, it's a european competition with some very decent teams in it, you win every game you can and should try your best to win each one, in the early games it's also a very good oppourtunity to give some of the younger up and coming players an experience in a big european competition.. if we are going to use the excuse it's extra games we don't need or our players will be tired ect then how do you expect us to cope with champions league games?....
Europa League is shit my friend ^
We don't need thursday night football against 2nd rate european teams. I'd rather we finish outside the top 5 (if we dont get 4th) and then that way we are fresh for every saturday/sunday of next season. You've only got to take a look at Newcastle this season to see how Europa has affected them

The main reason we have been poor this season is because of a lack of investment in the squad last summer to make the squad better and add more depth to it. Being in the Europa League is not why we have struggled this season. But look at Spurs, there in the last 16 of the Europa League and are 3rd in the table.
The Europa League is a good competition with some very good teams in it and I don't understand why teams turn their noses up at it. Some say that it causes fatigue playing on a Thursday and then Sunday for a league game, but it is exactly the same for a team in the Champions League playing on a Wednesday and then a league game on a Saturday.
Playing on a Saturday is prefered because the majority of other games are also being played, where as on a sunday you have to play according to skysports and when they want to televise it. So there is a difference trust me

What?
Sure on Saturdays, you could be put on the 12:45pm or 5:30pm kick offs that are live on Sky Sports or ESPN, which is the same as the 1:30pm or 4:00pm kick offs.
If that's an excuse for not taking part in the Europa League well quite frankly its the shittest one I have ever heard of.
you're clearly getting a boner over this whole thing so I'll leave you to it. I'm off to bed

Quite honestly I don't think you have any idea what your on about mate, what a complete load of rubbish, didn't we try our hardest and still get knocked out by one of your so called "second rate" teams this season in Zenit, and previously Braga and Athletico?....
The europa league is a very good European competition with teams like Athletico Madrid, Porto, Inter Milan, Lyon, Sporting Lisbon, Leverkusen, Benfica, Olympiacos amongst many other very decent teams, just because you might not of heard of a lot of teams doesn't make them shit... maybe you haven't heard of them because your clearly lacking in knowlede about football in general...
Spare the nonsense about being fresh...I want to finish as high as possible regardless of the outcomes...If we aren't capable of playing 2 games a week with your so called "2nd rate" teams in the Europa then how do you expect us to do it with the best of the best in the Champions League?
You aim to win every game to finish as high as possible, If your in a competition for a trophy you try your best to win it, newcastle being in the Europa league has nothing to do with their league form as they have basically alternated their players between games and their dip of form in the league has been down to injuries not because of an extra game in the Europa, i'm sure Dan as a newcastle fan would like to see Newcastle go on and win it.... I would have loved for Liverpool to go further in it but it wasn't to be....
The greatest nights in our history have been in Europe. Always want us to qualify.
You finish as high as you possibly can. That's what it's all about ffs.

Which teams are you referring to?
