Is this some sort of silly Yank effort of humour, how the fuck does giving the opportunity for an already rich as fuck Basketball player the chance to earn millions from us in a possible (Eventual) sale benifit us in any way shape or form.
"Without purchasing Liverpool, we never would have been able to have this conversation," Werner said.
Bad news... but good for the squad to see if they can cope til end of season, shame that shelvey has been injured for the past 2months who would be loving this opportunity. hopefully next year we will see gerrard, suarez and carroll in the same team with some new faces
This is the chance Jay Spearing has been waiting for after he got injured the same time as Lucas earlier in the season, he'll play every game from now till the end & I think he'll establish himself as a first team player which could save us a few million in the summer transfer window, well then again he's a similar type of player to Lucas so I guess it's just a chance for him to let the manager know he's ready to both step in when needed or be incontention for a starting place.
One.... 2 good things to come out of this season, interms of the team is the emergence both Jay Spearing & Martin Kelly, as it's been a long time since 2 local lads made the grade & who knows with the injuries to both Kelly & Glen Johnson maybe John Flanagan may get a chance, I've not seen much of him but I've heard he's a decent prospect.
i have gift for you scousers, john 'the bish' bishop's stand up tour is on BBC at 10.35 and the opening skit is brilliant, even as a manc i found it hilarious.
Terrible news today with the death of former LFC player, current LFCTV pundit & lifelong red David Fairclough's wife Jan. She passed away today due to a brain haemorrhage. I'm sure the thoughts of all us reds on here are with David, his son Tom & his daughter Sophie.
Is that from Irish tv??? Tommo might get himself in a bit of trouble on that one.
Kenny says he's thinking about calling a few youngsters up for the game tonight to ease the injury crisis, to be honest I can't see any of them starting but at least they're getting looked at.
In other news while out smoothing the ladies on Saturday night I was surprised to see the little one on the wheels of steel, "Go ead lad" as the locals would say.
