He's trying to force his way out mate.
IF he wins his legal action it only means we have to sell but not to Arsenal .
With the players that Rodgers is bringing in he should have at least giving them a season to see how things pan out. Just shows you loyalty and contracts don't mean a thing these days
.
Ive wanted him gone for awhile now but I also want him to stay so rogers can make him train with the kids and never play him. I know its a waste of money but its about time we show players that the club are in charge and player power wont work.

Yes, but if, as it seems, only Arsenal are in for him then....

Still won't be sold to Arsenal as that would make us weaker and a rival for 4th stronger , the only way he's being sold is to a foreign club .
Ian Ayre was on the 92Live thing on SSN the other day saying we didn't want to sell him amongst other things I can't remember at this moment in time. I doubt he'd put his rep or the clubs image on the line by refering to contracts that possibly do have the type of get out clauses that Suarez is saying he has in his.
That said I can't see a player saying he does have it in there if he knows he doesn't. A strange mess all this, I think in the best interests of the club it needs to be sorted before we kick off against Stoke.
I can't see us selling him to Arsenal unless they offer £50m+, which could happen.
They sell him to Arsenal I loose all hope and respect for FSG.... I think Rodgers would also and could be the start of a breakdown between the owners and manager..
As it stands their seems only three possible outcomes to this drama, one of which seems most likely....1) Madrid come in for him (not likely right now) 2) He stays at Liverpool (seemingly less likely after his latest outburst) and 3) Arsenal up their bid and we sell (Terrible, but looks most likely)
I just hope we get this sorted quickly and strengthen up top before the season kicks off.
As things stand now though how close is Suarez position to being untenable? There comes a point where there's no going back, he just has to go. Simple as that. The problem for Liverpool is that there is only one club in for him and nobody else looks like joining the party. Arsenal is the ONLY option right now and THAT is the problem.
If Suarez takes legal action though then that's the end to me - win or lose. Just say, Suarez was to win then that would effectively trigger his release to Arsenal, wouldn't it? Or anybody willing to match the £40m. But if Liverpool win can you really still keep a player who is so desperate to leave the club he takes legal action against you? That's a bit like your girlfriend dumping you but you continue to go round to her house and sit on the settee, asking what's for tea.
