BUGGER! Well Leicester did us no favours although they managed to hold them at bay for 70 mins, their captain Vincent Kompany scored a blinder apparently and City won only by one goal but it was enough and now ahead of us again by one point, so it all comes down to the final games but you would think Huddersfield have absolutely no chance of beating them and Wolves are a dangerous side so that could be a harder game than people think. I'm not sure my nerves will take much more, so we wait until Sunday for the outcome but as John Laurie(Pt Fraser) said in Dad's Army "WE'RE DOOMED...DOOMED I TELL YA, DOOMED!" Smile
Nice Try but Next monday the only team to Still have lifted the premier league trophy at anfield will be my rovers Tongue Tongue Tongue
I fucking hate City..

Anti-doping rules broken, FFP rules broken, 3rd party player rules broken, youth transfer rules broken, owners with one of the worst human rights record on the planet, and fans that just lap it up because of years being starved of success.

Unless the authorities get their fucking fingers out and do something, the PL is going to turn into the French league at this rate. It's shameful what's become of English football.

Fuck them. Fake club, fake fans, owned by a bunch of murderous tyrants. The sooner they fuck back off to the shit no-mark club they used to be the better.

I despise them and will not give them an iota of credit. Yes I'm bitter about it...bite me.
Well all i can say is that's maybe me done with football, struggling to comprehend how we can play as well as we have over the 37 games so far and still not win the title. That City team are undoubtedly the best team ever in the PL era, that i'm certain of. I can't stand them for all the dogginess over some of their financial dealings and the fact they've spent a fortune from nowhere.

All the supporters of other clubs with an irrational and quite frankly borderline obsession about whether we win something or not, you can shut up and untangle your panties for another year. Only City fans can really rip us, the rest just focus on your own selfs. Enjoy the next few dull boring PL seasons as no one is getting close to City next season, not Utd, not Chelsea, not Arsenal, not Tottenham, not even us. NO ONE. The joke is they'll spend big this summer..... But yeah they've saved English football......bladewavebladewave
^^Trouble is it's likely the PL wanted the last day scenario played out as they hoped, - and have they got it now!! - but it seems the PL have not even lifted a finger to punish City for all the regulations they have broken as Carl--Gen has explained.

If those rules have been broken, then why aren't punishments that fit the crime been adopted? What would they be scared off? Being extradited to the owners home country and tried for treason against their club and having a hand cur off or worse? The only way you'd get them out of the club and back home is for thr press to turn up anything that could connect them to dodgy arms deals or something. and then they'd have their assets frozen. But what it would take for me is the transfer bubble bursting and all those big money transfers and player value melting into absolute zilch. If that was to happen only then will the PL transform literally overnight. If that was to happen how would you like to see the PL transformed?

IF Liverpool are to win the title, then I would say they have to hammer Wolves about 5 OR 6-0, and then hope for a miracle Huddersfield win against City
They’ll be no punishment for what City have done because if say they get a heavy heavy fine, hundreds of million and a 2 or 3 year transfer ban their sheikh owner will just threaten to pull out and then the PL and FA will gang together to get it reduced to no transfer ban and £20 fine or something stupid. Nobody is bothering to investigate because everyone knows they’ve broken the rules, big time.

A Huddersfield win against Man City would indeed be a miracle - possibly the greatest miracle ever seen in football, as Man City's last league fixture is against Brighton.

If Man City don't win their final match then a Liverpool win would give them the title. The 5 or 6-0 margin you suggest is totally irrelevant, as any win would be enough.

In theory another match could yet be needed. If Man City lose 4-0 to Brighton and Liverpool draw 4-4 with Wolves, for example, a play off would decide the title.
^A play off in New York? I know it was mooted couple of years ago
They try so hard, the Manc fucks, they just can’t seem to fathom that they have been genuinely challenged from the start, despite having the backing of an entire oil nation and unlimited resources, that they have to fight until the last game of the season despite having 95 points at this stage.

Maybe they can come up with a song to celebrate their side, but no they sing about us, desperate to create a rivalry, but there is no way that will ever happen, for all the trophies they buy, they will always be a shit no mark club that won the lottery. Our rivalries are with United (as much as I hate them, at least I respect their history and achievements) and Everton (for obvious reasons).
Barcelona part 2 tonight. It will take a miracle even more amazing than that night in Istanbul to get us out of this. IF Barcelona score 1 goal then game over, but IF Liverpool bring their A-Plus game(and without Salah and Firmino that's not going to happen) then we need three goals to force extra time. Realistically we made another semi-final, played the best Europe has and nearly did it again. I'd say that was a successful campaign. The title will come down to the wire but again I think it is City's to lose, and although it pains me to see Liverpool miss out yet again, it has been our most successful run for ages. On the bright side, we qualified for the Champions League again, will be able to attract good players if we need them. The one thing we MUST do is keep our main players Mane, Salah, Firmino and blood Rhian Brewster(who I understand is on the bench for tonight's game) fully.
