Perhaps your right on that, although I don't see anything happening until next season, Di Matteo said Chelsea are finished in the transfer market this summer
If Lukaku does well at West Brom and then the following season gets more games then that could push Sturridge out the door
Sturridge's future could also be decided next season depending on who is the manager of Chelsea
Why wouldn't we get Daniel Sturridge??? He doesn't get games at Chelsea & they'd except £15m having just signed Victor Moses & given he excepted playing right of the 3 forwards at Chelsea he'd do the same at us especially knowing he'd play pretty much every week & also have an even chance of some games as central striker.
If we've got any cash left or can sell Downing, Spearing or Carroll (Calm down lad) we should test Theo Walcott's patience & bid for him, I think he's in the last year or so of his contract? & his pace would be a blessing to our squad.
If you say the words "sell" and "Carroll" in the same sentence again you'll recieve 1 virtual superman punch to the nostrils!!

He reminds me of Alonso mate.
if he was that good he'd be still at madrid.

I'm aware he doesn't get many games for Chelsea, but it wouldn't be a smart move for Chelsea if they do sell him. They have about 3 strikers Chelsea Torres, Moses (I'm nearly sure he can play striker) and Sturridge.
Now lets face it Torres has still not hit maximum form, Moses is not that prolific and Sturridge, as we all know is capable of scoring lots of goals. I doubt Di Matteo would be stupid enough to go through a season with 2 strikers.
Anything can happen and I will eat humble pie if Sturridge does move to Liverpool. But I don't think Sturridge will move until next summer and maybe just maybe this January
He needs to give it a fucking rest or just do one for a change!!!

But he is good, very good actually. If you watched him during his time at Dortmund, he was one of their best players and he is only young
Ok his time so far at Madrid has not been good, but I think he suffered a long term injury last season, so thats why he hasn't made a big impact yet at Madrid.
I think he will do well at Liverpool during his time on loan and he will come back to Madrid, as a better player
Hopefully we can sort out the defence. We are a long way off champions league with the current team.
