Oh & nice to see we've been linked with another central midfielder today, Fernando Gago this time a defensive mid, so all the good work & progress by Jay Spearing has gone unnoticed by the papers then!!!
As for Raul Meireles leaving, that I can't see & I'm a little surprised at the Maxi story especially them saying we're gonna release him from his contract, I don't know how long he's got left but he's worth between £6m & £8m not to mention he's the only natural'ish wide man we've got & Andy Carroll up top.

I like the new White kit but can't get used to it.It's not like any Liverpool kit i've ever seen.Think it's a nice kit though.It's fresh.Don't forget the 01 treble season away kit was yellow and BLUE!!! So it's not the first time we've seen it.

Anyways back to more pressing issues, it looks like we're gonna have yet another central midfielder at Anfield next season... No not Charlie Adam... Well not yet??? Alberto Aquilani looks like making a return as Juve don't want him & Roma & Milan haven't made a bid.
So, so far thats Steven Gerrard, Raul Meireles, Jordan Henderson, Lucas, Jay Spearing & Aquilnai fighting for two central places with Maxi left to pick which wing he wants to play on & thats only if he decides he wants to stay???

All the talk is about Meireles leaving because we don't want to up his wages as promised, if this is the case then we can't bitch about Juve not wanting to pay the agreed £13m-£16m for Aquilani & with all the other shit like Milan Jovanovic refusing to leave the obnoxious wages they've been given it's no wonder we're having to sell our second best player of last season.
As much as I don't wanna see Meireles leave, if he does then I hope we get over £15m for him as this would be a fair price & would make a change from us just selling players on the cheap & paying massively over the odds for the likes of Stewart Downing £18m we could get a better player in Charles N'Zogbia for half that.

If we do sign Charlie Adam & sell Raul Meireles & also end up with Alberto Aquilani then I don't see why we just sack off the wingers & play 4-3-3 with Joe Cole & Dirk Kuyt either side of Luis Suarez or if Andy Carroll plays then Suarez could play either side or just behind in a 4-2-3-1, why pay silly money for 2 wingers when we can't afford it & already have too many central players, like I keep saying 4-4-2 is way out dated & not our style!!!

I hope we don't get Charlie Adams as I feel we just gonna put him on as a left winger just because hes left footed player, there more to him than that! But I always feel we need an all out winger to add sum pass to our game, who can take players on and whip some decent crosses in the box for the likes of Suarez and Carroll!

With Alberto Aquilani, I never felt he was given a fair chance at liverpool under Rafa and we payed way to much for him! His done well for Juve to warrent them wanting to buy him(don't want to sell a good player at a knock down price as Liverpool alway seem to do this) but if we do keep him where are we gonna stick him if the competition in midfield is so fierce, can he cope with the pace on the Prem?

Also we seem to be linked with pretty much every player at the moment but have we put pen to paper for any new players yet? The only player that Liverpool currently signed is Hedison!

Carroll and Suarez will start every game they're available for i'd imagine.Think Kenny will be concentrating on gettin players in to provide the ammo for them aswell as chipping in with a few goals.

We've already got Henderson who i think will play mainly on the right this season.If we could get Mata for the left i'd be over the moon.Charlie Adam i'd love with us aswell.His vision,set pieces,ability to play killer balls and dictate the play remind me of Xabi Alonso.I'd have him in the side all day.

Back up striker,left back,centre back...Would start trying Kelly more and more at CB though meaning we won't have to splash on another one.

i think we should let kelly play a lot more as last season before his injury he was quality i think get rid of johnson and give right back to kelly also i think he should have won young player of the season and not wilshere everyone loves him and i dont know why he doesnt do anything, anyway herd today liverpool might forget about downing cuz of villa asking price and go for aaron lennon which would be a good move

I'm telling ye now lads.... Stewart Downing will be a Liverpool player before we start pre-season and that's whether we like it or not. I'm on the fence about Downing...he blows hot and cold and he sure as fuck isnt worth £18 million. Charlie Adam will be a red this week (could be make-weights involved going the other way on loan maybe Shelvey or Darby) . We're strongly linked with Clichy now aswell...he's reported to have turned down Roma in favour of a move to us but the geography teacher is getting snotty over it (prob coz the king told him to piss off ) Mata will be a massive signing but i think he'll be a massive signing for a team who are in the champions league It's silly season really with the amount of players wer linked to.

Whatever about players coming in - that's never a bad thing. I want to see some of the shite getting shipped out. Step forward Poulsen, Konchesky, Jovanovic, Ngog and Kyrgiakos!! There's another rumour about Meireles and it's that his family havent settled in Liverpool and he's asked to be considered for a transfer. I've also heard the rumour he's only on £30K a week and the club wont increase it... I wouldnt like to see him go though.
