I don't know what to make of Dalglish. He clearly feels let down by Suarez, but has scored a couple of own goals himself in handling this issue. A dreadful PR disaster all round for Liverpool FC.
It's awful for Dalglish that he's been shown to be so inept in his handling of this matter. The fact that the owners and the sponsors have had to weigh in on the subject tells you eveything you need to know about Dalglish's competence in dealing with it. In backing Suarez to the hilt, Dalglish has been naive to put it mildly and has only succeeded in tarnishing the name of Liverpool FC. It was a PR disaster even before last weekend, but now it's one of toxic proportions and the fact that the owners are flying in this week to crack the whip is the clearest possible statement on Dalglish's inability to manage the club in a competent manner.
I agree, the fact that Liverpool's hierarchy and even the sponsors have got involved is a clear statement on Dalglish's mismanagement of the situation and his hapless and incompetent PR. But as I said earlier, it remains to be seen how much the forced (and no doubt insincere) apologies will do to limit the damage to Liverpool's reputation.

Is the kit man going to say he feels he can no longer do his job all the time Saurez shirt is mixed in with the others.
I'd tell the sponsors to fuck off!
I have some sympathy with your point of view, but the kit man is not paying Liverpool £20m a year, so no doubt his opinions would not be regarded as being of any great importance.

You know you've gotta bad egg when a player's nicknamed The Cannibal yet that's not the thing he's gonna be remembered for!
If they decide to sell in the summer they will find it hard to get a good price as he will have a stigma with him like tevez
Never read so much crap in my life. cosmonaut, manic street pugilist, William H Bonney, Dominar Rygel XVI, 7 stars of the orient, Roger Patterson, Broncobilly, Doc Holliday, Phoenix. Honestly lads, one absoloute nonsense, howler of a post after the other.
Over a non handshake!!! This has been blown out of all proportion by a media, desperate for headlines. We're the only shithouse of a country that gives a toss about stuff like this, nobody else cares! If Suarez and Evra had shook hands it would only have been for the cameras anyway.
Everyone loves to hate Luis Suarez, LFC and our fans just now. Your clearly enjoying it all over Britain... The apologies have been made, move on. The focus of the media will be on another target shortly.
I'll be at Anfield on Sunday singing Luis and Kenny's name. Can't wait to see them both with smiles on their faces again.
Luis will join The King as a Reds legend. Nobody's walking alone here.
Awesome post groundnpound. Could not put it any better myself.
What a dope you are having a cheap shot at people discussing an issue. I hate people like you who always look down on people just because you have a different view. Your entitled to your view so are we.
