roller ball (remake), gratuitous violence.
the game plan, the girl who play payton steals every scene she is in even when it has dwayne johnson or roselyn sanchez.
longest yard (remake),
waterboy
later before the super bowl, any given sunday and grid iron gang.
reccomend the original rollerball. a scifi classic. the remake isnt bad at all and rebecca romijn gets her kit off
Revolutionary Road (2008)
I've always been a fan of Kate Winslet's and have kind of grown up following her films. Here, she and Leonardio DiCaprio play the suburban couple who both strive for better, but find that life just keeps getting in the way. He's held back by a lack of drive to make the extra step; she's hindered by ambitions that just don't seem achievable. Very good work from director Sam Mendes who made a similar film with American Beauty. He's done it again with this eccentric, tragic and amusing drama. 4/5
Safe House (2012)
Denzel Washington on good form in this gritty espionage / action thriller. It's exciting and there's plenty of bangs and crashes to keep action junkies happy. For me it was let down by the fact that I was able to spot the villain way too easily although I was still entertained by the end. 3/5
Flight
Good performance from Denzil Washington as a drug taking/alcoholic air captain, battling his inner demons after crash landing his plane in miraculous fahion. The crash is well staged, and John Goodman is ace as Denzil's full on booze/drug supplying friend. Definitely worth a watch. 8/10
Die Hard 2: Die Harder, i know this gets a hard time compared to the first one but really enjoyed and this film 8.9/10.

i have seen it and the original focus more on the social impact of the media.
fast and furious series, from best to worst; 5,4,1,3,2. cant wait for 6 and maybe 7.
transformers trilogy, great cgi. some elements of each film did werent good but overall great trilogy and cant wait for the new trilogy to start.
any given sunday, epic film. the most iconic scene is where al pacino is giving his "inches" speech.
Once Were Warriors
Absolutely brilliant film, with strong performances across the board.
This a brutal yet touching movie with some disturbing scenes of domestic violence,an absolute much watch IMO.
Jake Heke is full on nut job but in a strange way does have a heart.
9/10

The Expendables - Extended Director's Cut, the extra ten mins really does flesh out the story 8/10.
Goldeneye - blu ray, one of and if not my fav bond film not only does it have a feel of a classic bond film but yet still has that modern feel. Goldeneye was meant for Timothy Dalton but due to legal problems he got tired of waiting and pulled out of the movie. This film had a great story line, great villain's and great sound track. Even better is watching it on blu ray its a massive improvement in terms of picture and sound quality and even better its uncut just like the two disc version 10/10.
A Good Day To Die Hard
Just got back from seeing the early showing, and although it's not on par with the earlier movies, there's no denying the action, car chases and stunts are relentless, and make it an action fans dream. Bruce Willis gives some great quips. Put your brain in nuetral, sit back and enjoy the crash, bang, wallop. A yippee- ki- yaying 7.5/10.
