Kingdom Of Heaven (2005) 1184 in Jerusalem and there is an uneasy peace between the Christians and the Saracens led by Saladin. Directed by Ridley Scott this is a visually striking film with good spectacle and fine battle scenes. Particularly good is the closing siege scene. The film finds time to show the different shades of opinion between factions of the Christians i.e. war or peace. Despite the implausibility of a blacksmith who is really the son of a lord being adept at leading men into battle, Orlando Bloom is convincing dramatically and action wise in this role. Ghassan Massoud is good as Saladin and there's fine supporting work from Eva Green,Jeremy Irons, Edward Norton(good as the King Of Jerusalem), Brendan Gleeson,David Thewlis, Liam Neeson & Alexander Siddig. 7.5/10
The Lego Batman Movie
A brilliant & very funny spinoff film from The Lego Movie. The animation is fantastic and there is plenty of Batman comics, tv & film Easter eggs. It also isn't afraid to poke fun at batman, the DCEU (including batman v superman & suicide squad), marvel and superheroes in general. Other films get sent up as well.
All the actors who voiced characters were perfectly cast as their respective Lego superhero characters

The Omen(1976)
Harvey Stevens is incredibly creepy as Damien, the Antichrist in Richard Donner's beautifully crafted film based on the novel by David Seltzer, who also wrote the screenplay.Add the ever reliable Gregory Peck and an amazingly evocative and often imitated score from Jerry Goldsmith and you've got an absolute horror classic.

superman (1978). still great.
Her First Affair(1932)
An excellent drama from director Allan Dwan and starring Ida Lupino in her debut role as a young, engaged woman who falls in love with a married novelist, who's wife then falls for her fiancé.Also featuring great turns from George Curzon and Diane Napier.

Disconnect (2012) An ensemble piece with interconnecting stories involving people having problems with the online world. Nothing stunning, but a fairly engrossing film, some parts are cliched, but there are moments of quality, and the acting is fine. Starring Andrea Riseborough, Jason Bateman, Frank Grillo, Paula Patton, Alexander Skarsgard & Max Thierot. 6/10
Girl on the train.
Don't know why they changed London for New York like in the book but still a decent movie never the less. Emily Blunt is excellent.

The Demon Barber of Fleet Street(1936)
George King's version of the macabre tale stars Tod Slaughter, who relishes and really hams it up in the role of Sweeney Todd.Literally smacking his lips with utter joy as he slits his victim's throats and uses his rigged trapdoor chair to dump them into the cellar so they can baked into meat pies by Mrs.Lovett.A unsettling and effectively shot, classic horror film.
