Chained. I found the movie so disturbing that I don't even want to talk about it. All I will say is don't watch it as I'm trying my best to forget about everything I just seen.
I can't rate this movie at all and I neither do I want to. Disturbing is all I have to say and if ever there is a movie that should be banned then its this one
Fucking sick and repulsive from start to finish.
^you should try 'a serbian film' mate, you'll love it!
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, a really unrated film if you like great music and video games then you'll love it. Watch out for the 8 bit intro. 8.5/10.
chained. 8/10.
going on sb's review at the top of the page i rushed to download and watch this. i must've downloaded the wrong film! i found it a very interesting take on psychopathy and the nature versus nurture questions it raises. also great little twist at the end. i recommend this highly.
Ant-Man
Really enjoyed this latest film from marvel. Funny & very entertaining from start to finish with fantastic action & amazing special effects. Very good performances from Paul Rudd as scott lang/antman, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym & Evangeline Lily as hank pym's daughter hope
Don't go when credits start as there are 2 extra scenes, one part way through and a humdinger right after the credits finish
9/10
Tape.
Uma Thurman is excellent in this film.
One of Ethan Hawke's best too imo.
8/10.
Red dawn (2012) 8/10
Remake of the Classic film with patrick swayze, Charlie sheen in it
wasnt as bad as i feared had Thor and Mockingbird aka bobbi from AOS in it
this one where the country was invaded by North Korea which i found very unbelivable in the first place I mean how would America not see an Aerial invasion force coming from north korea
Original was more belivable was russians from north and cubans from south
^^^ Interesting point about this...
The movie was originally scripted and even filmed with China as the principle enemy. Not sure how much more believable that would have been, but certainly more than North Korea!
But a few big releases in China alerted the studio to how lucrative the Chinese market really is and they did not think they'd get a permit to show the film with China as the main enemy. So it was re-scripted, some scenes were re-shot and the rest was fixed in post-production to retrospectively make North Korea the bad guy.
All of that notwithstanding, it is still not a patch on the 1980s original. They didn't change the plot at all, except for adding some more saccharine melodrama to the relationship between the two brothers. And improved special effects don't add much to that kind of movie. So I don't really get the point of re-making it.
