Batman Under The Red Hood
One of the best Batman animated movies and really violent in places too. Batman is voiced by actor Bruce Greenwood who played Captain Pike in the JJ Abrams Star Trek movies he voices Batman in the animated series Young Justice. Jason Todd/Robin/Red Hood is voiced by actor Jensen Ackles known for playing Dean Winchester in the tv series Supernatural And also is a big Batman fan and dressed up as Red Hood last Halloween, highly recommend this movie.
Tremors (1990)
An entertaining (if a little hammy), send-up of 50s and 60s killer creature movies. Handymen Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward, survivalist couple Michael Gross and Reba McEntire and seismology student Finn Carter team up to defend an isolated Nevada desert town from giant worm creatures. Well timed satire and a good country music soundtrack add the perfect tonic to established factors one expects from a monster mash horror movie. Quite a modern cult classic now. 3.5 / 5
Batman Vs The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I really enjoyed this its a very funny and well written animated movie, i had to google the voice cast half way through as i thought kevin conroy and mark hamil had returned as batman and the joker but it was the very talented troy baker doing his best impressions.

Just for a bit of nostalgia I watched 'Back to the Future' this evening, the 30th Anniversary re-master.
I have to say the remaster is amazing, and they've done a fantastic job bringing the film back to life with decent grading and colours to match the two different time zones (warmer colour tones in 1955). Featurettes were also good, although quite a few not in HD. But where they show some extended scenes, you can see just how much they improved picture and sound. Almost like new.
My only small challenge is that with it being the 30th Anniversary, it just reminds me of how old I am as I remember going to see this in the cinema when it first came out and I was just leaving secondary school then. #OldCodgersClub
Arctic(2019)
A bone chilling survival thriller from Joe Penna with Mads Mikkelsen finding himself trudging across the brutal Arctic landscapes after living through a plane crash. Its a greuelling watch with just the right amount of character history thrown in via an occasional flash back.
8/10
Collateral (2004)
Hard as nails, cool as ice and ultra stylish noir thriller in which cabbie Jamie Foxx reluctantly becomes getaway driver for Tom Cruise's ruthless hitman during an explosive and tense night in Los Angeles. You know to expect a quality film from director Michael Mann after his excellent delivery of Heat (1995) and the master of this genre of crime movie doesn't disappoint. The leads give commanding performances that put the audience firmly in to the sequence of events. Cruise has made some bad choices in film in my opinion - occasionally disappointed as an actor, but this is one of my favourites of his and always worth repeat viewings. 4/5
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
The 12th & final film in the X-Men universe ahead of it being rebooted & incorporated into the MCU and it’s a very good addition to the x-men universe which sees the X-Men take on their most powerful & deadliest threat Dark Phoenix (Sophie Turner)
It’s the darkest X-Men film in the franchise with excellent special effects & action sequences and is also surprisingly moving, especially when
Interesting to see now how the X-Men are introduced into the MCU

^^^ been hearing bad things about that film the original idea that Matthew Vaughn had for the trilogy (not including Dark Phoenix) after left First Class was much more interesting oh well Reboot.

Love this film, everything about it is good, stylish, slick.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix - 5/10 very disappointing end to the currant franchise, i could go into the many problems this film has but it would spoil it for others.
