The Odd Couple (1967)
Brilliant classic comedy starring Jack Lemmon & Walter Matthau.
The premise - two divorced men decided to share a New York apartme by - is simple. The result is pure hilarity. Lemmon plays the fussy and fastidious Felix Ungar, who proves that cleanliness is next to insanity. Matthau is Oscar Madison, slovenly and sloppy, who can wreak havoc on a tidy room with the speed of thoroughness of a tornado. Sure, they can live together... but can they live together without killing eachother? The Odd Couple showcases the impressive and memorable comedic precision and timing of these two unforgettable screen funnymen.
This film gets funnier & funnier each time I see it. Plenty of scenes that cracked me up (such a clever script and excellent chemistry from Lennon & Matthau). If you haven't seen it - see it!

So it's not overrated like The Force Awakens was?
The Force Awakens was decent but really just a rehash of Star Wars, the hype was due to some of the original cast returning which led people to give it over the top reviews when it first came out. This new one however is far better and probably the best since Empire Strikes Back.
Thanks for letting me know so soon. I thought The Force Awakens was good, but it was pretty much A New Hope with weaker characters & less of an atmosphere. I hope I'll enjoy The Last Jedi as much as I do the original trilogy.

Up there with being one of my fav X-Men movies and big improvement over the first one, the same can’t be said about the third film. X-Men 2 does look stunning on blu ray. My only issue with the film and trilogy is Cyclops was so under used in each film.
9.4/10.
X2 was brilliant. I still laugh at how botched all the editing was with Wolverine and his bottle of beer. Filmed at one angle, it's full, next it;s almost empty, next it's half full again, ect

The 8th film in the Star Wars saga & only The Empire Strikes Back is better for me.
The special effects are amazing, the action is fantastic from start to finish & it's also got plenty of very funny moments along with plenty of drama & emotion (you will shed a tear or two)
Daisy Ridley is again excellent as Rey, John Boyega is very good as Finn & Adam Driver is an excellent villain as Kylo Ren. The rest of the cast plays their part in this fantastic film, especially Mark Hamill & Carrie Fisher reprising their roles as Luke Skywalker & Leia Organa.
It is a fitting tribute for Carrie Fisher when sadly passed away soon after filming finished on The Last Jedi
10/10
They overdid it a little too much with the humour. Sometimes it was too cheesy and I scratched my head a little at the intelligence of their actions
But, I thoroughly enjoyed the vast majority of the film and I'm excited for the franchise going forward.
I was facinated by how lifelike Snoke was and such a great performance by Andy Serkis. They gave him excellent dialoge, too.
Jigsaw.(1962).
Intriguing British police-procedural piece following Jack "Dixon of Dock Green" Warner as a cop investigating the discovery in a house near Brighton of a suitcase containing a dismembered corpse.
Keeps you guessing with the identity of the murderer kept hidden very well I thought, a few good red herrings in the mix. Even if you guess the ending, just following the way they chase down what seem to be slender leads to the victim's identity and then the possible killer is quite well done imho.
Loophole(1981)
An exciting and tense crime thriller starring Martin Sheen as an architect who comes to London and joins a gang of safe crackers led by Albert Finney to pull off a daring robbery of a sophisticated vault in a bank by drilling in from the sewers below.Well acted with a great score and an unexpected conclusion.

Girls Trip - 9/10. Laugh out loud stuff, rude in the best possible way, Tiffany Haddish steals the show, she is very funny.
A good cast, simple story, a film worth watching. There is a scene with a grapefruit and banana that almost made me cry with laughter
Smurfs : The Lost Village - 6/10. A bit of fun, nothing special.
