The Prowler[aka Rosemary's Killer](1981)

A horror/mystery from Joseph Zito centred around a group of students who organise a graduation dance only to find themselves being stalked by a maniacal killer wearing world war two combat fatigues, hell bent of reviving a double murder committed thirty five years earlier.A bit cheesy in places but the acting from Lawrence Tierney,Christopher Goutman and Vicky Dawson help it along,as do the incredible makeup and gore effects by Tom Savini.

7/10
A New Leaf (1971)

Comedy directed by Elaine May, starring Walter Matthau.
Playboy Henry Graham squanders his wealth and must seek out a new source to maintain his idle rich lifestyle. The easy alternative to work is to find a rich woman, marry her, and murder her. Klutzy, nerdy Henrietta Lowell is the ideal candidate. But in dealing with his klutzy, nerdy, trusting new wife, a botanist, and her ill-managed estate, Henry unwittingly begins to assume some sense of responsibility, not realizing this while planning to do away with Henrietta on one droll camping trip.

3.5/5

Glengarry Glen Ross (1992)

Drama directed by James Foley, starring Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon & Ed Harris.
The staff at the Brooklyn office of Premiere Properties is convened by Blake, sent by the bigwigs Murray and Mitch from the downtown head office. Blake's mentality is cutthroat, he implementing a month long contest among the sales staff, with the highest seller winning a Cadillac Eldorado, the lowest seller who will be fired. Most of the sales staff are incensed as they feel their fate is largely in the hands of the office manager, John Williamson, who hands out the leads, many of those leads which the salesmen know are useless. In turn, John will only hand out the coveted Glengarry leads to those that sell. What the salesmen also have against John is that he has never been a salesman - John, who probably got his job through some sort of nepotism - and has no idea what it takes to be an effective salesman. Ricky Roma is the lead salesman thus far this month, which he has been for some time, he who seems well on his way to that Cadillac as he already has his next potential target cum client, James Lingk, on the hook. On the other end of the spectrum is aging Shelley Levene, who once long ago was the top seller, but who seems to have lost his touch largely in his desperation. That desperation is ratcheted up a notch with the contest, Shelley who due to personal circumstances can't afford to lose his job. He believes the best way not to lose his job is to gain some sort of favor with John for better leads. George Aaronow and Dave Moss, two other salesmen near the bottom of sales, discuss other possible measures for themselves, which are illegal. Regardless, Dave tries to protect himself at George's expense. By the next morning, the fortunes of all those at the Brooklyn office takes a major turn, but not all those changes may be what they appear on the surface.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)
Crime thriller starring Walter Matthau, Robert Shaw & Martin Balsam.
Four armed men hijack a New York City subway train and demand 1 million dollars - which must be delivered in 1 hour - for the train and the lives of the passengers held hostage. Lt. Zachary Garber of the New York City Transit Police must contend with City Hall red tape, the unrelenting demands of the hijackers, and the ever-ticking clock in his efforts to save the passengers and bring the hijackers to justice.

Avengers: Infinity War - 9/10.
Very good, and for it's length, didn't feel like it dragged on, so not too much to complain about.
Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie

A anime movie based on the video game.

8/10.
Audition(1999)

A disturbing horror from Takashi Miike that follows a widower played by Ryo Ishibashi who in desperation to find a new partner in life, sets up a series of fake auditions for women in order to vent a potential suiter. One lady named Asami(Eihi Shiina)stands out and a relationship blossoms only for it to be revealed that she is hiding a terrible secret that involves violent tendencies against the men who have wronged her in the past.

8/10
Irma la Douce (1963)

Top Billy Wilder comedy, starring Jack Lemmon & Shirley McLaine.
Disgraced former police officer Nestor Patou falling for beautiful Parisian prostitute Irma La Douce. Now a couple, Nestor can't stand the idea of her being with clients, so he devises a way to keep her all to himself. This scheme leads to plenty of trouble, however, and soon Nestor is forced to avoid his old law-enforcement peers in an attempt to stay with Irma and out of jail.

4.5/5
The Innkeepers(2011)

Another decent horror effort written, produced and directed by Ti West. The story follows two ghost hunting wannabes Claire and Luke as they finish their final weekend working at the soon to close,Pedlar Inn which once operated as a grand hotel. The hotel has a rich history of hauntings and paranormal activity which intrigued Claire and Luke to work there in the first place. After a slow start a series of revelations soon make the young team realise that all the so called urban legends are actually true including the case of Madeline O'Malley.A bride who back in the 1800s hung herself after being ditched at the alter, only to have her body hidden under the basement of the hotel by the owners at that time. Its a slow burner that could've done with a few more scares but with Ti West's use of old school horror clichés,a witty, intelligent script and good performances from Sara Paxton, Pat Healy and Kelly McGillis, its all quite enjoyable.

7/10
Hot Fuzz

This film is fantastic and probably my fav Simon Pegg, the cast Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Timothy Dalton who nearly steals the show, Paul Freeman as the Rev, Bill Bailey playing twins, Jim Broadbent, the late Edward Woodward, Paddy Considine, Olivia Coleman. Not only a mixture of comedy, gore and action in places very gorier. But the second half kicks off in non stop action reminered me of the film Bad Boys starring Will Smith but in a country village. Really highly recommend this movie and blu ray transfer is stunning I have the limited edition blu ray steel.

9.8/10.
Pontypool(2008)

A very original take on a saturated genre directed by Bruce McDonald and written by Tony Burgess from an adaptation of his own novel.A former shock jock now demoted to announcing on a small radio station in Ontario Canada begins to interpret a zombir outbreak over the airwaves with the help of two roaming reporters, brilliant its simplicity as it basically takes place in one room and riffs on the Toronto riots whist paying homage to classics like Night of that Living Dead and Day of the Dead.Stephen McHattie is superb in the lead role.

8/10
Justice League Dark (2017)

An exciting Justice League animation with a story thats well put together. It gives us an insight into the back stories and abilities of many DC Universe characters that are off mainstream - that is characters who perhaps don't get as much coverage as the established JL members and DC regulars. In this, Batman forms another Justice League team that specializes in the occult and dark arts, to combat a series of violent crimes that are being committed by supernatural forces. Characters such as Deadman, Etrigan, Black Orchid and Destiny get a good amount of coverage and it was great to see two of my all time favourite DC heroes - John Constantine and Zatanna - as main stars in film. Really enjoyed it, a DC animation that was worth staying up late at night for. 4/5
