The Man Who Could Cheat Death(1959)
Another film for Hammer from director Terence Fisher and starring the ever depenadble Christopher Lee,as a doctor who experiments with gland transports to fulfill his dream of eternal life.A stolid horror that follows a predictable path. With good support from Anton Diffring and Hazel Court.

Quite violent and Dark for a Superman animated but very enjoyable.
8.9/10.
It's a good movie, I seem to enjoy the Dc animated films more than the live action ones.
Pauley Perrette was great as Lois, but the guy that voiced Manchester Black kept slipping between English, Irish and Scottish accents, strange for an English born voice actor.

Some Like It Hot (1959)
Charming comedy set in prohibition-era Chicago. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon play musicians who witness Mafia gangsters committing a revenge crime and decide to dress in drag to escape. Things are complicated when they hook up with an all female band, and both fall for the vocalist Sugar Kane, played by a delightful Marilyn Monroe. It's a laugh-a-minute from there on as the men compete for her affections whilst maintaining their disguise as women. A risky subject matter for the time led the film being released without approval from the Motion Picture Production Code but it proved to be so popular that motion picture guidelines were relaxed afterwards, and it was the final nail in the coffin for the MPPC. Despite colour films appearing more by then, the film was shot in black and white. This classic production style allows the film to be hugely enjoyable and gives it a more authentic feel. A must-see. George Raft, Pat O'Brien and Joan Shawlee also star. 4/5
Great film there, Regenerated. The "nobodies perfect" line at the end is hilarious!

Lake Placid(1999)
An enjoyable tongue in cheek,Tremors style comedy/horror film with another nature's revenge sub plot that was made as a homage to the creature features of the 1950s and Jaws(1975).This time a huge crocodile makes a lake in Maine its own personal hunting ground and a team of local law enforcement officers and Fish and Game work together to try and slay the beast.Steve Miner's film got a decidedly mixed reaction upon release despite boasting a great live action croc from Stan Winston studios and some funny one liners from Brendan Gleeson,Oliver Platt and Betty White.

April 9th(2015) This refers to the date in 1940 when The Germans crossed the Danish border and this film focuses on a small Danish bicycle company and their lieutenant, played by Pilou Asbaek who are among the first to encounter the enemy. An absorbing and at times exciting movie about a World War Two episode I knew little about. The acting, mainly a mixture of fear and determination amongst a mainly youthful cast, is spot on. There's also an excellent gun battle towards the end of the film. Also starring Elliott Crosset Hove and Jannik Lorenzen. 7.5/10
The Blues Brothers - Extended Version:

Della(1964)
A Robert Gist drama starring Joan Crawford in menacing form as a reclusive, rich matriarch of the affluent coastal town,Royal Bay.Power and possession are her only interests in life as she watches over and interferes obtusely with the lives of all the residents.
