Not a bad attempt at an AI film imo. It's set in a not so far dystopian like future where it's basically Man V AI (after a Nuke has wiped out Los Angeles) - without giving away any spoilers it does have great special effects, the action scenes are good, the story itself is good but not great, although it does have brief moments that give an emotional feel to it - definitely not on Ex_Machina level imo (my favourite AI film
), though there is quite a lot of action in this compared to Ex_Machina.
Overall worth a look for sure but perhaps just missing something to make it great imo.
6/10
Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom
The final film for DC before they reboot their universe & its a fun and very entertaining film with very good special effects & action
There is a post credit scene, but it's not worth staying around for
7/10
Rebel Moon: A Child of Fire.
The latest Zack Snyder slow-mo fest is a pretty hard film to review. Like most snyder films Visually it's beautiful and has great action scenes but also like most snyder films it just crams too much into one film, it has so many characters. The best way to describe this film would be like a whole series of the mandalorian crammed into 2 hours, lots of cool space stuff but just so much happening.
5.5/10

I watched it last night and I agree, would give it a slightly better score of 6.5/10, but what you've said is pretty much spot on. The slow-mo was used way too much, like stupidly, it needs to stop. Visually, yes it was beautiful, with only one sequence feeling a bit cheap. I do like that the ships are bulky and a bit different as well.
For something that is a long time in the making, it's a bit of a disappointment, three two hour films needed rather than just two. Knowing his work, longer cuts may happen, but there definitely wasn't enough time to do proper world building. It actually would have maybe been better to do an eight or ten part series instead of movies.
Casting is pretty good, I like most of the main characters and the actors playing them, there was only one or two that were a bit shit.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Had potential but sadly wasted, better then the Last Knight but that’s not saying much.
Red Ghost Nazi Hunter
One of those random films on Prime Tv
Mysterious Russian sniper that’s taking out German troops, it’s set in 1941 and eh aye it done the job as a background film
6.5/10
The Wall
Soldier gets stuck behind a wall by a iraqi sniper, while he gives him banter down his radio, pretty decent, John Cena is in it but you don’t see him much
Couldn’t help that
7.5/10
