If you like a bit of violence British style, have a bang on this,It's a bit tasty if you like that sort of thing (violence) which I do
so for me,it was well worth the watch.

Deep Impact (1998)
Kind of like Armageddon (also released the same year) but a lot more sombre and a lot less enjoyable. The disaster itself is accelerated at a much quicker pace than its rival but that means sacrificing bangs and spills - I suppose that was deliberate to focus the audience's attention on the helplessness of the situation. That might work in a drama film - but a sci fi film for me needs to be exciting. The end scene with the US president making a speech that sounds like a bible sermon just kind of sums up the muddled thinking for a film of this genre.

I actually have a soft spot for this movie but I agree with your comments about President Freemans end of world speech and the fact it was muddled in places. Armageddon on the other hand was over hyped tripe about a bunch of oil rig workers being blasted into outer space
Doctor Strange - Marvel animated movie 8/10.
Independence Day. 8/10
Still looking quite fresh and always an enjoyable watch, cheesy dialogue aside
Batman Year One - Animated Movie, based on the Frank Miller story. This animated movie focuses more on Gordon its a dark and gritty tale, if you that kind of story and your a Batman fan you'll really enjoy it 9/10.
