'9' A bit bizarre in many ways but a really enjoyable computer animated movie. Not at all like the pixar movies. This is about a post-apocalyptic future.
Friday - 9/10 - The best hood comedy there is imo. Funny, quotable and an awesome soundtrack (before soundtracks became just another money spinner to attach to a film)

For the first eleven words I thought you were referring to the musical "Nine", but then realised my error.
(
The Penelope Cruz number in that film is
hot !)
The Crow: City of Angels 0/10 A shoddy and amateur film with terrible acting and a woeful script. Netflix should remove this. One of the worst films I have seen in a year or two and an utter waste of 90 minutes.
Robocop (2014) very good reboot of the 1987 scifi classic some very good performances from the cast, especially Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Samuel L Jackson, Gary Oldman and Michael keation along with some very good special effects and action sequences combine to make a very good smart scifi film. the ending does seem to hint it will be the first of a new Robocop franchise
9/10
Thor: The Dark World - 6/10 - Another average Thor film. Looks very nice and not particularly bad its just....well...a bit dull. Loki is the highlight again and the baddie and the reason he's the baddie are completely unmemorable.
The film actually got me thinking, if Marvel have made all this Avengers money off product like this why can they still not get it together to make a half decent Punisher film? Meh
Watched Thor Dark world other night thought was defiantley better than the first was ok.
Busy day catching up with movies I've not yet seen....
Gravity - 8/10 - Visually stunning and quite tense. Sandra Bullock was a little annoying
42 - 7/10 - Great, if a little run of the mill, sports drama about Jackie Robinson, the first African-American Major League Baseball player. True story adds weight and def a recommendation if you like baseball or sports films
Argo - 8/10 - Just finished this, another 'based on a true story'. Affleck and his beard prove that The Town wasn't a fluke and he's pretty darn good behind the camera. Highly recommended
All Hail the King 9/10
A Marvel one shot that features the fake Mandarin from Iron man 3. It hints that the true Mandarin from the comic universe actually exists in the cinematic Marvel universe
Justin Hammer from Iron man 2 is also in it.
Dallas Buyers Club 9/10. Maybe 20 minutes too long but a simply brilliant display of acting by Matthew McConaughey. Has Best Actor Oscar written all over it.
