The Informant! (2009) Directed by Steven Soderbergh, based on the true story of 1990s price fixing accusations labelled at an agro-business giant, with Matt Damon in the title role. Damon makes his character both sympathetic and believable, partly due to his witty & entertaining narration. Also starring Scott Bakula,Tom Papa, Rick Overton , Ann Cusack,Melanie Lynsky & Joel McHale. 7.5/10
Hell Is Sold Out(1951

The Mummy's Curse(1944)
Lon Chaney,Jr. wears the wrappings and drags his foot as Kharis for what proved to be the last time in this decent effort from director Leslie Goodwins. It just lacks that bit of magic the previous mummy films had.Still a lot better than the recent efforts though.

Paranormal Activity (2007) A couple film a possible supernatural presence in their house. Despite using the hand held and or camcorder approach this is a rather dull 1hr 20 min worth. In fact, although there a few creepy moments & a fine lead performance from Katie Featherston, the way its filmed restricts it. Also starring Micah Sloat. 5/10

Day The World Ended(1955)
Another low budget effort from Roger Corman about a scientist and his beautiful daughter who help a group of survivors in a post apocalyptic world fight against a three eyed mutant monster that has evolved from the fallout. The creature doesn't look half bad and was designed and built by the talented make up artist Paul Blaisdell. The genuinely, creepy moments outweigh the occasional silliness.

The Man From Uncle(2015)
This was a film which underperformed at the box office, criminally so in my opinion. Maybe it was because of the cold war themes and 60's setting, or it could be simply that a lot of people don't go to see films unless they have a huge budget spent on overblown CGI effects. The film has a decent blend of action and comedy which is delivered in a subtle clever way.
8/10
think its because its a guy ritchie film. he can do some good stuff but has had some turkeys as well
thought it was good as well dont think coming out weeks after the last Mission Impossible film also helped
Her(2013)
In a futuristic Los Angeles,Joaquin Phoenix plays a shy introvert who falls in love with his artificially intelligent operating system which he calls Samantha, voiced by Scarlett Johansson.Spike Jonze's film crystallises our modern day almost, umbilical relationship/addiction with technology,as well as being a sweet love story simultaneously.

Die Hard ( 1988 )
I own this film on every format known to man, and I have watched it countless times, but I still have to watch it every time it comes on TV. It's a classic action movie even if most of the terrorists look like Michael Bolton
