China 9, Liberty 37 (1978)
Decent enough Western but what stands out for me is the nudity from a 26 year old Jenny Agutter. She gets her tits out no less than 4 (Four) times in the film. Think Lara Croft of Xpanded for some idea of what her boobs look like. They are very pert and perky. She also has a lovely arse and we get 2 or 3 really nice views of it as well.
There's also another bird in the film who plays a prostitute. She goes full frontal and also has a very nice pair of tits which are maybe a bit bigger than Jenny Agutter's. Her George W is very nice and is a welcome addition to the picture.
I commend this film to the Forum.
^ that's a nice recommendation
Corridors of Blood(1958)
A top notch cast including Christopher Lee,Boris Karloff and Betta St.John star in very handsome looking horror from Robert Day.The story revolves around a doctor who develops an opium base anaesthetic to which he becomes addicted.Although it could do with a few more scares, the real thrill of the picture is seeing messers Lee and Karloff together.
7/10
Easy Money III : Life Deluxe (2013) The final part of the Swedish crime trilogy sees leading man Joel Kinnaman try to track down his sister( Maja Kin) but mainly deals with two other stories that connect to this, one involving a Serbian crime syndicate(the boss played well by Dejan Cukic) and the other about a gang attempting a heist on a bullion centre. Like its two predecessors, this is a complicated and stylish affair, not stunningly original, but very watchable. It also makes me want to revisit the first two films. Also starring Matias Varela, Martin Wallstrom,Malin Buska,Madeleine Martin & Cedomir Djordjevic. 7/10
Sorcerer(1977)
Based on the novel Le Salaire De La Peur by Georges Arnuad.William Friedkin's adaptation was a massive finiacial flop upon release despite a great turn from leading man Roy Schneider and its sprawling, explosive content and tone. The film represents the last hurrah of pre blockbuster cinema and was the director's personal favourite of his body of work.
7.5/10
War On Everyone 7.5/10 - politically incorrect but very funny buddy movie about two corrupt cops, one of the better films in the genre with some laugh out loud moments.
Troy - Directors Cut
I have no idea what the normal cut of the film is like but I read that this directors cut was much better.
First of all it's a beautiful looking film on Blu Ray and it has a fantastic cast with the likes of Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Brian Cox, Diana Kruger, Sean Bean and the legend himself Peter O'Toole who was fantastic.
The film isn't for the faint hearted with loads of blood, gory and limbs being chopped off. One thing the directors cut is over 3 hours long. I have this film as special Blu Ray Steel Book.
8/10.
Dragon In(1967)
Although this has been remade twice in 1992 and 2011 respectively it's King Hu's 60's wuxia that is rightfully one of the most enduring and influential examples of Taiwanese action cinema.A simple story that follows the children of the executed General Wu as they are taken to safety at the Inn of the Dragon Gate only to discover thay they are walking into a trap set by emperor, who ordered their father's death.Beautiful looking and thrilling, its how action films should be done.
8/10
Alien Resurrection.
4th film in the Alien franchise, and 9th film in the Alien timeline. Not as bad now as it used to be thanks to AVP 1 and 2, Prometheus and Covenant.
7/10
Wonder Woman
The 4th film in the DCEU which had massive pressure & hype riding on it and it not just lives up to the massive hype & pressure, it exceeds it and then some.
Wonder Woman is not just best film in the DCEU it's also a fantastic comicbook film in its own right and probably the best since The Dark Knight.
Gal Gadot is fantastic as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman and is an absolute badass too in the amazing action sequences she has to do. The rest of the cast play their part in telling the origin story of Wonder Woman.
The special effects are top drawer, the action sequences are amazing and it's also funny and very emotional.
No hesitation in giving Wonder Woman 10/10
Over to you Justice League, top this
Frances Stein (2015) P. J. Woodside plays the title role, as well as directing and writing, on a film loosely based on the Frankenstein story. At times betraying its low budget, with inconsistent acting, variable script and shoddy action/fight scenes, it is however watchable and sometimes compelling with twists, some guessed, some not, and some decent cinematography/ camerawork. Woodside is a prime example, occasionally overacts, but other times rather good. Also starring Scott Cummings,Cody Rogers,Jessica Leonard,Steve Hudgins, T.O.N.E-z & Ruby Sayard Kelly. 6/10
