Dr No, the classic Bond film that started them all off and been lucky enough to have visited where parts of it were filmed in Jamaica 10/10.
Prometheus 7/10. Still disappoints in places but overall its a good film which I enjoyed more on blu ray than at the cinema....perhaps thats because I knew what to expect this time!
It certainly captures the same sterile sort of feel that Alien had 30 years ago. Expect the directors cut in a year or two
(Ridley Scott has previous for releasing unedited, better versions of his movies).
Final Destination 5
For what it is,A glossy teen horror, its a decent time killer with some good/gruesome deaths.
7/10
In Our Name (2010)
Joanne Froggatt (of Bad Girls and The Syndicate) gives an outstanding performance as a soldier suffering from post traumatic stress. The film goes off the rails in places, but recovers to still give a shocking study in to the traumas soldiers face during a warzone. 3/5
30 days of night, best vampires in a very long time 9/10

she's great, not seen her do anything bad.
Sinister
one of the best horrors i have seen in a long time,it has no blood or guts but it has atmosphere and good scares,a sequence involving a lawnmower was the freaky highlight for me,well worth seeing
4/5
The Thing (2011)
A prequel to the original The Thing, this is a really good watch with just the right balance of CG/SFX,their are some really good jump up moments in this film,my only regret is I've got some dodgy ears right now which detracted from my overall viewing plesure.(i'll watch again in a cpl of weeks)
On a negative side for me,it lacks the Dark/Dirty/Atmospheric feel of It's predecessor,I know it is a prequel, but the whole Dark/Dirty/Atmospheric feeling was a major viewing factor for me,in the first/original....that being said,it is definitely worth a watch.
7.8/10
From Russia With Love, another classic bond film, gotta laugh tho most of actresses voices dubbed over even the english actresses except Lois Maxwell aka Moneypenny from Dr No to Moonraker. 9/10.
