Couldn't help it when I spotted it in the EPG....
The Rock - mindless fun from Michael Bay era before he decided he believed all the sycophants telling him he was a genius and proceeded to turn out turd piles such as Transformers, Transformers 2, Transformers 3, Transfor... oh fuck it you get the idea.
An enjoyable 7/10
Ditto could not resist watching this the other night , hot on the heels of
Con Air a similarly ludicrous action-fest : "Put the bunny down"
Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer 6/10
some recent films on tv
Lockout - all criminals are Scottish in the future
The Cold Light of Day - Garbage. Diabolical garbage.
The Fifth Element - Always enjoyable
X-Men: Days Of Future Past - 6/10 - Decent flick, little slow in places, but then I'm not the worlds biggest X-Men fan sooo.....enjoyed it all the same. Good follow up to First Class
Edge of Tomorrow 8/10 Great film. Tom Cruise's decision to make just one film a year is paying dividends.

Beat me to it, watched it last night after Days Of Future past, so I'll just 2nd what Bytor said, its a strong 8/10 film, I really really enjoyed it and Emily Blunt is hoooooooooot as a badass dirty solider lol
The Canyons
A WTF movie, as in WTF am I watching this sh#t for (Shame on me)
4/10
A walk among the Tombstones 7/10 - the latest Liam Neeson action flick, not in the same league as Taken but a decent watch. A more thoughtful movie than most of his recent output, its a little slow in places and more than a little bleak.
