sounds like usual suspects which needed a couple of viewings to understand the whole story especially the ending.
Taken 2. Heard a lot of criticism of this so bought it with some trepidation. Surprise surprise not the bad film it's made out to be. Okay its not as good as the first one and there are one or two glaring errors but as a relax, switch off and watch the hero ass kick everyone then it works quite well. 7/10
Skyfall - 10/10. What more could you want, it has everything
Looper 7/10. Not a bad movie but a bit confused with itself at times. This film deserved a bigger budget and perhaps a more talented screen writer and director. It could have been an intelligent and thoughtful sci fi film in the mould of Bladerunner, but sadly it lacked the atmosphere and style. Worth watching though

The Runaways
The true story of the all girl Rock 'n' Roll band.
Die Hard (A good day to die hard) at the cinema -5/10.
Too short and didn't really make much sense tbh.
Big on budget, short on quality. Didn't care much for Die Hard 4 either.
Should have quit while they were ahead after Die Hard with a vengeance.
That along with Die Hards 1 and 2 were excellent.

I haven't seen A Good Day to Die Hard yet so cannot comment on that. I must admit I have not read a good review though so will probably leave it until it comes out on blu ray. Die Hard with a Vengeance is my overall favourite but that just goes to show that taste is a very personal thing as this movie was universally panned when it was released.
watched battleship last night, thaught it was just going to be a rip off of topgun to start with but turned out not too bad if you like your sci-fi alien invasion kinda stuff, also Rhianna wasn't too bad in it either but way too many cloths on for her
7/10
Once Upon A Time In America - Amazing film. 10/10 Five stars two thumbs up etc etc...

i enjoyed Skyfall apart from Javier Bardem i wasn't convinced by his performance as silva he came across as too campy and merry otherwise a great movie
