Lured(1947)
An effective crime drama from Douglas Sirk about a killer in London, who targets women via personal ads in newspapers.Stylishly shot with a creepy turn from Boris Karloff and excellent work from George Sanders,Lucile Ball and Charles Coburn.
7/10
The Lone Ranger.
Much better than I expected. The comedy wasn't overdone and the action finale on the trains was really good
8/10
This.... a truly magnificent movie on xmas day.... That Hugh Jackman sends strange sensations to my naughty parts too..... Bonus!
Fantastic Beasts: The crimes of Grindelwald 6/10 - an ok sequel with good special effects but does not really hold the attention.
Bumblebee
Watched this yesterday
Was really good seeing and hearing proper soundwave it made my day
Its a shame it was only for a couple of minutes i wish this film couldve just been set on cybertron a whole movie with how the transformers should really look would of been amazing,
Everyone was good in its no complaints with the acting even john cena was good.... i only have 2 negatives
1st being it got a little bit melodramatic i mean sure it needed a bit of heart but they started going over the top by the end and 2nd the fact this is a prequal to michael bay's terrible films this should of been a complete reboot but overall i really enjoyed it
8.5/10
Body Heat (1981) - 8/10 one of the most underrated and best films of the 80s, the closest you will ever get to a classic 40s film noir. I watched this at the cinema when it first came out and it still stands the test of time, Kathleen Turner in her first starring role and William Hurt are superb in this steamy and clever thriller, you always know there is a twist coming but watching it happen still surprises you.
I bought this as part of the HMV premium collection.
Highly recommended.
