Minesweeper(1943)
A powerful World War Two drama about a naval deserter,who puts his own personal feelings aside and is drawn back into the services after the attack on Pearl Harbour. With sensitive performances from Richard Arlen,Russell Hayden and Jean Parker in the main roles.

The Woman In Black 2: Angel Of Death (2014) Its 1941,the house which was in the first film is now home to evacuees and their teachers. Poorly plotted sequel with quite a few shocks, chills and spooky moments, though some are rehashes from the first film. Some of the scenes away from the house in the latter part of the film dissipate the horror too. Pheobe Fox makes a plucky leading lady, with decent support from Helen McCrory,Jeremy Irvine & Oaklee Pendergast. The theme of previous loss by some of the characters is nicely done. Also starring Adrian Rawlins with Leanne Best as The Woman In Black. 5.5/10
The Fugitive (1993)
Delightfully entertaining cat and mouse thriller which I think remains a strong highlight of Harrison Ford's and Tommy Lee Jones' careers. Ford's wrongly convicted doctor is out to prove his innocence whilst trying to evade capture from Jones' determined lawman. A powerful thriller that brings the 60s tv show of the same name into the modern era. Good supporting cast includes Joe Pantoliano, Sela Ward, Jeroen Krabbe and L. Scott Caldwell. 4/5
The Exterminator (1980) 7/10 - one of my favourite 80s movies, this is a well made vigilante film starring Robert Ginty as a Vietnam vet who decides to clean up the mean streets of New York. Not as good as Death Wish but well worth a watch.
Don't bother with the sequel, its shite.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story:
Wanna start off by saying I did post many months ago saying that this would be the film of the year.
Over all I really loves the film and enjoyed how ever for me I still hold the original trilogy higher simply because of the magic of those films and the characters.
What I liked a liked about this film is that it felt like a different Star Wars film while still being a Star Wars think of it as a war film kind of like Black Hawk Down/Saving Private Ryan meets Star Wars. It shows the ugly bleak side of war and that not every one is squeaky clean not even the rebels. Overall it was very good cast with Donnie Yen and Alan Tudyk being my favs one grip I had is I wish we had more back story on the characters especially with some not getting enough screen time or explanation as there motivation.
The film starts off slow but builds up with the final act which kinda makes up for it all tho it does suffer similar issues with Suicide Squad with how it introduces characters and the trailers where most of what you see not actually being in film and it's a lot of cut out probably due to the extensive reshoot where you can tell certain parts and tones of the film feels different it even had a totally different ending which you see in the trailers won't say wgeee but you'll notice after seeing the film then watching the trailers.
There a good few cameos from past and future Star Wars timeline which was a nice considering it's set after revenge of the sith and before new hope which was great touch. The special effects were great and really stood out in the film especially the final battle there were two cgi characters that looked a little odd One you see lot more of then I was expecting and second one was all I can say is a perfect ending but because tgeee not on screen a lot compared to the first cgi character it's not as bad. There is a bad ass scene near there end and wow. The film score I really really loved a tho the John Williams theme is there it's someone else composering the soundtrack and considering they had to get a new guy to redo it and he only had 4 weeks it's a fantastic epic score.
I would recommend watching it and getting it on Blu Ray not a perfect film but very highly enjoyable and another great addition to the Star Wars franchise. A lot of people have complained about the prequels about everything looking new ships and buildings it's supposed to look that way then everything falls to empire then everything turns to shit and everything looks run down and ruined due to war so it makes sense when you look at the over all picture. Overtime my score may change with more years and viewing. 9.3/10.

The Boys From Brazil(1978)
Playing against type,Gregory Peck put a great turn in for Franklin J.Schaffner's film as ex concentration camp Dr.Josef Mengele.Lawrence Olivier was also in good form as an elderly Nazi hunter,on the the trail of the mad doctor who is hiding in the Brazilian jungle trying to clone a new Führer using DNA from Hitler himself.A criminally overlooked fim based on the best selling novel from Ira Levin,as most of Peck's work was,when he didn't play a hero.

La Haine(1995) In the aftermath of a riot in inner city Paris, this film documents 24 hours, focusing mainly on three friends. Strikingly shot in black and white, with a good soundtrack, and despite the sometimes grim and realistic subject matter, there is quite a lot of humour, some dark, and also some surreal moments. The film's main strength is the depth of the characterisation, showing many viewpoints on the situation, even amongst friends. Starring Vincent Cassel, Hubert Kounde, Said Taghmauoi, Tadek Lokcinski & Francois Levantal. 7/10
Humanoids From the Deep(198)
Barbara Pesters directed this exploitation creature-feature for New World Pictures. With silly looking monsters,a hammy script and completely inept acting throughout.Even B movie legend Doug McClure can't save this one.

Saboteur(1942) Directed by Hitchcock, Robert Cummings plays a worker in an aircraft factory who is wrongly accused of sabotage and goes on the run to catch the real culprit. One of Hitch's favourite scenarios, a lead character trying to clear himself, its got a literate, amusing and tense script, loads of visual flourishes, a gallery of villains(Otto Kruger,Alan Baxter,Clem Bevans & particularly Norman Lloyd,who's only on screen for about ten minutes). Cummings as the everyman feels right in the lead role, as does Priscilla Lane as the plucky leading lady, although Hitch was underwhelmed by both of them. Throw in a brief episode on a circus lorry, and a splendid climax at the top of the Statue Of Liberty, it is top entertainment. 8.5/10
