I clearly stated I know nothing about him or what he has done, this is why i asked, and nobody has rushed forward with a list of his achievements.

The real onus here is on the leave campaigners to show that getting out of the EU would be a benefit to Britain, and so far I have not seen one credible reason to leave that even comes close to justifying the massive leap in the dark that would be an exit. Sure there are faults with the EU but overall entry has generally been good for UK and I would need something really positive to throw away all that has been achieved over the last 40 odd years for what? Obama was only saying what any reasonably inteligent person should realise for themselves - that the UK's miniscule home market would be a low priority in a 21st century global economy dominated by massive trading blocks almost certainly no reason to imagine the fantasy utopia of life after the EU where either everything carries on as normal or where the whole world can't wait to beat a path to Britain to cut trade deals. I'll stick with what we have and what works for Britain thanks very much.

The fact that certain politicians are using Trump style rhetoric over here is very disappointing. Of course they have the right to put forward their agenda/ideas (even though it's full of empty promise), but using language akin to his is just wrong. I'm not suggesting anyone on the forum is racist or wrong for saying they want to vote leave, but I really don't like what I'm hearing from Boris and Farage, it's small minded ignorance at best, and divisive, them and us bullshit which feeds a nasty side of our country that we all know exists, but tend to gloss over, at worst. It's had a light shone on it in America, we don't need that kind of nonsense here.

Marine Le Pen, President of the French National Front is reported to be intending to travel to the UK soon. She is a supporter of Brexit and intends to speak in favour of it. Seems that Vote Leave have attracted some unfortunate far right supporters & Gisela Stuart, Co-Chair of Vote Leave wants her banned from the country. Well I suppose Vote Leave have at least inadvertently found a prominent overseas politician who supports them! I'm waiting for Boris to publicly announce that no foreign politician should say how we should vote
