In preparation for a No Deal Brexit the port of Cork has doubled the size of its customs facilities, conducted several simulation studies, made extensive preparations to ensure that importers’ and exporters’ operations run smoothly and is due to open the new Cork Container Terminal, which will see its capacity increase next year.

Nothing like this has happened at ports like dover and today the Brexit Secretary tweeted this nugget:

How can he think that we need to be starting these talks now? We're 5 months passed the original exit date !

This is what makes me think, what I alluded to earlier, what Johnson is doing with his prorogation, he is trying to scare remain MPs into believing he is serious about No Deal so they vote for his deal. Except his deal is going to be Theresa May's deal but with glasses & a fake moustache.

The problem is, The Supreme Court has ruled that whatever deal we leave on it has to be approved by Parliament, so if Westminster does not approve The Withdrawal Agreement on its 1000th time of coming up we crash out, which we are not ready for because we haven't even expanded the port of Dover enough to speed up the processing of the Trotters Reliant Robin let alone the 10,000 lorries that pass through each day
Barclay has a cheek telling us about the just in time supply issues (and the importance of securing those 'chains') that- Mr Barclay- we already knew about, and formed a large part of the concerns that many expressed about no - deal- when you 'sir' were spouting your scaremongering line. Now you tell us - weeks from the final (make no mistake it will be the final) deadline that we need to start - STARTeek making plans and talking to the EU about the issue,,,,,,you utter gabshite (as we say here in good old NI)
Why is nobody asking those who stated in the televised debate before the conservative leadership election, that proroguing parliament would be an affront to our democracy, and the principles supposedly underpinning it, as to why they are staying stoney silent now??
I think Prime Minister Cummings has them on a near media blackout, I think journalists were shouting at Matt Hancock if he was going to resign as he got into his ministerial car. Andrew Neil's own starts on Wednesday, I wonder if anyone from the government will feature.

I ain't holding my breath
I can only see Corbyn reverting back to his no confidence stance as I feel it would be the only way forward to collapse the Government. My big worry is that although to the GE would take place after Oct 31 (If the no confidence votes was lost by Johnson) what are the chances the EU would also force on us at the same time a referendum on re - joining?

I have an issue with the likes of Andrew Neill!! Yes he has to ask pertinent questions, and seek solid replies, but he - like so many others - conduct interviews as though they were interrogators with the security services. that serves no other purpose, than to create a 'slanging match' - 'white noise' event, which I have to switch over from!! It gets us nowhere!

On a completely unrelated issue with the A. Neill's of this world - if he is to be paid a subsidy from us as license payers, he should be tied (they all should - or preferably jettisoned from) to the BBC, instead of 'moonlighting' with Euro News. Same with football presenters (mentioning no names)
