Really? No mention of that in the latest Government advice, which was published only two days ago... (Andy's third link)

Really should look at whats coming out of Brussels as well as london seems the EU have a plan in case things go south

So the EU have a plan, that's good to know #takebackcontrol Rolleyes

It wasn't a plan, it was a proposal, and the proposed amnesty was 9 months not a year. It was dependent upon the UK offering a reciprocal arrangement, which so far the UK hasn't done.
So dyson has jumped ship moving HQ to singapore
Not exactly a surprise considering what he's been saying for a while, it's still a shitty move. I prefer Vax, always have.
Hope that they are going to take his Knighthood backbladewave
Their statement says it pretty neutral for tax purposes BUT it’s not for us as they’ll pay Corporation Tax in Singapore in future rather than here. Another shitty move from a Brexiteer businessman who couldn’t care less if Brexit damages the UK

Henry the hoover for me can pick up half bricks and still keep on ticking

coincidence that they moving to singapore who has just signed a free trade agreement with the EU
The Dyson HQ is situated in Wiltshire, Wiltshire voted leave and Dyson is one of its biggest employers. The company statement also said that this had nothing to do with Brexit that they were merely future proofing the business. One can only speculate as to what it is that would stop them future proofing the business in The United Kingdom but even if it had nothing to do with Brexit there is still the fact that Dyson is advocating that we leave under a No Deal scenario that would prevent us from having frictionless trade of goods with The EU whilst he will be in Singapore, enjoying frictionless trade of his goods

Sony has also announced that it will be following fellow Japanese electronics outfit in relocating it's £3.3bn HQ from the UK to The Netherlands in preparation for a No Deal Brexit. It says that it will not result in the loss of jobs

British Firm P&O Ferries to reflag entire fleet, on the English Channel, under the Cyprus flag ahead of Brexit: "The Cyprus flag is on the 'white list' of both the Paris and Tokyo Memoranda of Understanding, resulting in fewer inspections and delays, and will result in significantly more favourable tonnage tax arrangements as the ships will be flagged in an EU member state." Fewer inspections and delays wonder why they would worry about that
the reason why business is doing this is because they have realised that we have a bunch of self serving wankers in the HOC. they had all expected within 2 months of a march 2019 leaving deadline that things would have been sorted by now and we would be entering any transition period after march 2019. But no
^I will not cast another vote in a referendum or a General Election ever again unless these same self serving HOC wankers get a big boot up their backsides STOP looking after their own interests put their constituents first FOR ONCE, and get a deal through parliament no matter what the fine print says, and save a lot of fucking businesses & jobs going down the tubes on March 29.
The one consequence of businesses leaving because of Brexit and with a high street in this country that is nearly (or is) dead, if they don't get their heads together, shops will be closing by the day, the pub industry is almost gone, and god knows how many more businesses will have gone out of business or have left the UK by March 29 I can only comprehend.
We charged you HOC wankers with the greatest challenge this country has faced in peacetime, and you have simply failed in your task. and because of your inability to agree on anything the end result is there will be nothing business/inward investment wise left in this country to make it on our own two feet collectively after March 29.
