You carry on reading and believing what you want to read and ignore the rest.

It's never been exactly smooth running while we have been in europe now has it? Especially with France

You seem to forget we are now the product of 40 years of Europe, exactly what has been so spectacular about it all?

There was a draft statement explaining his emergency brake system for overall migration. But the Germans refused to allow it and it was dropped from the negotiations.

Which is proof that it's now the Germans who are running Europe

Bingo! Britian will never have any REAL say in Europe, because the others would just veto anything Britain wanted.
When you look back Maggie & John's attempts to get a fair deal from Europe, you must wonder how stitched up Britain was in terms of getting ANY kind of a fair deal at that time.
If Cameron thought he could get deal without being stitched up by Merkel he must have been dreaming!! Tongue

Even now I think We can never get a good deal without any other country doing it's best to scupper it.
What happens IF we in England vote LEAVE and the rest of the UK voted REMAIN? would it be a big enough majority for a leave win?

I bet Merkel managed to get a leaked copy of the Statement hours before Cameron could publish it and didn't like what she saw
Boris waffling now on Breakfast Tongue

It would be ironic if scotland would, since some were so desperate to get out the UK laugh
The hypocrisy of Ian Duncan Smith is simply staggering! His ludicrous claims that the EU has caused greater inequalities and has been bad for the less well off smacks of desperation on the part of the 'Brexit' campaign, or perhaps he is just trying ro shift the balme for the products of his own government policies. The truth is the EU has been vital in protecting workwes rights and preventing the Tories from shafting the less wll off even more than they have in their attemps to divert as much money as possible into the pockets of their corporate buddies. For years the press and anti EU brigade have been regaling us with stories about 'straight bananas' etc which low and behold turn out to be total rubbish and even now Barmy Boris is still trying to 'misrepresent' the EU for his own political ambitions.

What is your evidence for this? since most of the UK industry, recessions and high unemployment have all been since the early 70's.
