The Electoral Commission have fined Vote Leave and referred them to the Police.
The EU has just signed a free-trade deal with Japan, creating the worlds largest free-trade area. Part of the deal gives tarrif-free access to the EU for Japanese cars.

So, if the Brexiteers get their way and we crash out without a deal, Japanese cars from the UK would face tarrifs while Japanese cars from Japan wouldn't.
I wonder how that would pan out for the Japanese car factories in the UK...
Old sour-faced Soubry really has lost the plot & since the Referendum result has morphed into some frothing at the mouth,two-headed ogre with permanent PMT ranting at anyone who disagrees with her.She clearly isn't an MP that represents her constituency (which voted Leave) & merely uses her position to feather her own nest & a soap-box rant.

If Sou®bry had an ounce of decorum for her own convictions (which conflict with the Tory parties) but more importantly respect for her constituants in Broxtowe she would call a By-Election,leave the Tory party & either stand as an Independent or join the Lib-Dems & give the constituants the chance to vote on her opinions (or not) put-up-or-shut-up so to speak.I've heard on the grapevine her constituants aren't happy with her.
Jack's friend Anna Soubry was on the Last Leg, last night

She called Trump ghastly, useless, an idiot and a dick head, wants a unity government with Labour to sort out Brexit but no Corbyn with Ken Clarke to be PM because he is the best the country has never had and Chuka Umunna to be Foreign Secretary because he is gorgeous

She also said twice that Jacob Rees-Mogg is running the country

She was actually quite funny
Didn't she say one time that Jeremy Corbyn was the best PM the country never had? At least she summed up what we all knew Trump was perfectly Tongue Tongue

With Mrs May now taking full control of EU negotiations and Raab now handling domestic preparations for no deal & exit legislation what was the bloody point of appointing him and Davis to do the negotiating in the first place when she should have taken full control right from the start? I reckon if Cameron had overseen Brexit we would have been no further than we are now.

She had to appoint Davis to keep the brexiteers happy, and couldn't sack him for the same reason.

It might actually be suiting her just fine that he resigned.
Having her involved in the negotiations does that weaken or strengthen our bargaining position?
Who knows.

Things may be able to move a bit faster now May's talking to them directly though, rather than having to relay everything back and forward through Davis.
May talking to themBounceBounce,May giving in more likeannoyedannoyed.

Barnier let the cat out the bag last week when talking about Dominic Raab as the new Brexit Secretary he implied that David Davis had very little involvement with negotiations so far & most of the talks had been with Olly Robbins.Tbh I had a bit of spare time on my hands yesterday afternoon & watched the Brexit Select Committee question/scrutinize Dominic Raab & Olly Robbins on the parliament channel. There is certainly something reptilian or snake-like about that Olly Robbins (kind of like them lizard people who impersonated humans on that old tv-series 'V').If I was to stop 'oily' Olly in the street & ask him for the time I'd end up having to ask someone else to see he wasn't lying or talking bollocks.

Much like I've always suspected Corbyn is merely being propped up by the Unions as they try to take over the Labour Party (with Momentum) I also think Theresa May is being propped up by Remain MP's to prevent a Leave supporting MP becoming Tory leader during Brexit negotiations. For all May's faults (& fuck me she has many) she's a tenacious woman that possesses a tough rhino-like bullet-proof hide for skin for the conferences she coughes & splutters her way through & the general shite she has thrown at her from all sides. Also she's not exactly a well woman with Type 1 Diabetes which usually requires daily insulin shots, the woman is like a human Weeble she wobbles but she doesn't fall down.
