Nadine Dorries was in tears and it was beautiful

Even if I'd liked him before then the fact that Nadine Dorries supported him would have cost him my vote. Big Grin

Now we are nearing the business end of this thing we are seeing the difference between campaigning and actual politics in Boris' words. Farage meanwhile continues to play to the media and court public attention. Who's words should we pay more attention to at this stage?

The answer is Farage.

Boris has disowned the article in The Telegraph, saying he had no intention of proceeding on that basis and that he was tired when he wrote it.
I'm still trying to work out why there has to be free movement in the common market, there wasn't only a few years ago, people can apply for work permits or be recruited from abroad it has been done plenty of times in the past without having free movement.

People have always emigrated/ imigrated from/to the UK.

I assume free movement is similar to the people in the UK when we can work were ever we want in the British isles, I assume that's why there are so many Scots and Irish in England Wink But, any British person can go and live in Southern Island and continental Europe, but equally, they can go and live and work in the US, Canada, Australia but with the CORRECT PAPERS, this strickes me as a much better, safer way than people just showing up on your door step with a pass port and a suitcase; and all these non EU countries trade with the UK also.

Stands to logic that if you're from a very poor country and you want some money for your family the first thing you will do is go and try 'to find your fortune' in London where the streets are paved with gold.

I know where I am there was pretty much no foreigners, but in close towns, like Chesterfield and Alfreton you can't go 30 yards were you don't hear some one talking in a foreign tounge (that is NOT an exaggeration), and that's with in the past couple of years. What it must be like in Southern towns, cities and ports I can't imagine.

This is nothing to do with racism it's to do with controlling numbers, 667,000 people came to this country last year, 333,000 left, but that still means that 2 3rds of a million people are still here with a surplus of 333,000 (and this is suppose to be substainable indefinately?). Of course people will say, 80% of those people are paying there taxes and have jobs, firstly I don't remotely believe that number, but if it is true, where are they getting all these jobs from? when a lot of indigenous people were unemployed on the back end of a recession?

Freedom of movement is directly responcible for this, of course poor people are going to come to rich countries.Rolleyes

Problem is the remain people are wofting the race card around and are trying to scare the overly pc people of Britian in to backing down on this issue. How people can accuse Britian of racism with the Billions uppon Billions it has in foreign and and more importantly have rasie from the British public is a disgrace and a kick in the balls as far as I am concerned.

Freedome of movement is NOT necessary.

What was the story with the Sarah Vine email. Accidentally sent to "a member of the public" who just happened to be minded to immediately send it to a newspaper. What terrible luck Wink
So now "doing a Boris" will mean pulling out at the last minute. What a legacy.
So, the referendum only came about because of The Tories trying to stop themselves from being ripped apart on Europe, as well as attempting to reduce the electoral threat of UKIP.

Some have said that Boris unexpectedly joined the leave campaign to further his own ambitions to be Tory leader & PM, and is now not even standing! shocked

Both gambled with the UK's position in the EU for their own self-interest. bladewave annoyed

That's another nice fucking mess the Tories have got us into! bladewave

Doing a Boris - definition

• betraying your own views in order to further your career
• lying to your country
• stabbing your Prime Minister in the back
• being stabbed in the back
• realising the game's up and nobody trusts you
This development is bad for Remain.

If the contest is between Gove and May, then Britain is out of the EU and probably the single market, because unlike Boris neither will retreat.

It's incredibly ironic, Boris had enough faith in the British electorate to think they wouldn't be stupid enough to believe a word he was saying.
Talking of Boris,
